Excellent Thai food. Waiter we had could have been better, had to ask another one about the status of our order. Our waiter comes to our table to tell us that the kitchen was "backed up" but many other parties of people arriving after us received their meals before us. Guess he forgot to put in our order.

Authentic Thai food along side traditional American Fare. What used to be a questionable tavern has turned into a place to take the family for a variety of dining options.

I've had better Thai, maybe, in Seattle or Portland, but the food is really good. The best part though for me is the atmosphere. From the outside it looks like any small town dive bar. When you get inside, well, it looks like a small town dive bar, but an interesting one. Take my word for it, you'll never ever... More

We've eaten here a number of times over the years and always like the food. We hadn't been in for a year or maybe more, and stopped in intending to have an early dinner. We were kind of shocked at the prices as they seem to have gone up significantly. Nearly everything on the Thai menu was $15 or more.... More

The Woodsman is one of those restaurants you are so happy to have found and give good reviews for. Its like that hole in the wall bar that was a suprisely awesome place to hang -no designer fan fair decor but with great music, a great pool table and good people. The Woodsman is the restaurant equivelant to that. The... More

Average Thai food with not a lot of flavor (pad Thai & Thai garlic). The appetizers had better flavoring than the entrees (pot stickers & salad rolls). The portion sizes are plentiful - you do get a lot for your money (although we were incorrectly charged the regular menu price for the special of the day). The place does has... More

Very good Thai centric food but very high priced for Philomath. Still has the 'feel' of it's biker bar roots...located on the very west end of town

We have eaten at the Woodsman's quite a few times and enjoy each experience. The Thai cook is the nicest lady. I am going today if they are open and getting salad rolls for a work crew. They rock! Tarntip is my favorite, but The Woodsman is a class act and a great improvement over a bar atmosphere.
