OH So Good

Had their fish and chips for dinner and it was "OH So Good" The fries (chips) are very good. The place seems to be a place of the locals. We sat near the kitchen which appeared to be very clean. The waiter/cook was great and had a couple of fun stories to tell making the experience very... read more

The Rainbow was described to me as a place where every strata of Pendleton 'society' goes. It's clean, the liquor plentiful, and lots of photos on the walls, including my Mother right above the cash register. Don't miss it!

We are passing through Pendleton on our way to Arizona from Washington State. The hotel desk clerk recommended 2 places in town to eat and we chose the Rainbow Cafe. They serve fried (broasted) chicken. The atmosphere is pub-like. The customers are all friendly, like they know you. Since Rainbow is a local hang-out I'm pretty sure they know each... More

When I have company in town, I like to take them to The Rainbow for breakfast. The Rainbow serves very delicious, generous helpings of breakfast joy! I think their bacon is the best in town! Fun atmosphere and super service!

How Toby Keith describes the bar in his song "I love this bar" is the Rainbow! The Rainbow is a historical bar in Pendleton and has not changed in the 25 years I've been coming here. (I'm a hometown girl ) The fried chicken and burgers rock! (They use local meat [Hill meat]) And the best part is you will... More

I love the Rainbow. You can see lawyers in suits eating next to a cowboy with spurs on. It is oldest brick building in Pendleton and has set the standard for fun and good, honest food since 1883. Weekends are packed and during events like Round Up , St. Patrick's Day and Pendleton Bike Week it is tough to get... More

This was a very unique place to have lunch. My sister and I stopped there on our way home to WA. We saw the reviews so we figured we'd give it a try. The actual restaurant was small, but had fun decor. The service was fine, but they seemed to cater to the older crowd at lunch time. My sister... More

Breakfast was fine. Service was pour. Needed water. Could have been cleaner. I do not mind old, but I like clean.

The female bartender was really nice (sorry I forgot her name) and the chicken was great. Fun and informative.
