Burgers and Brews

Prodigal does a nice job with its burgers, and has a nice selection of beer. The quality of the fries varies, and the pasta does not have sauce of any kind on it (don't order unless you like dry pasta).

Food took forever and wasn't very good. Second time we have eaten there and won't be back. The chicken blt sandwich was good, burgers not good, Mac and cheese was fair.

My husband loved the beer and I ate the best Caesar Salad in Oregon. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We had a great meal, big plates of food, enough to share. We plan to visit every time we're in town. Great for lunch or dinner!

Great stop on a long drive. Yummy food and nice local craft beer in an old building downtown. There is a super kids menu and a fun kids play area. Would love to stop here again when passing thru this neat and historic town.

Valcar's Revenge burger, the fries and salads were delicious. We ordered the onion tart because the description made it sounds so good. The waitress was great because she was honest about her opinion that it was too salty. She was right! It was way too salty! We could not eat all of it. Would highly recommend the burgers though.

We had a beer sampler... parmesan garlic wings, a frisee salad with Bleu cheese crumblessalad, bacon, egg and sweet garlic dressing... And a little birdy sandwich (smoked turkey, arugula, avocado, tomato, Swiss and curry mayonnaise. The sandwich was well thought out and better even than expected... Served with hand cut fries that were amazing! The salad was outstanding and the... More

Cheese curds were awesome! The brews were good. I really liked the stout. The IPA was pretty good, too. Decent menu with some really interesting options.

It was dead, three tables and all already served and I sat for ten minutes! Waiting for someone to help me. It was almost 9, but that's also the reason I didn't leave. I got in late to Pendleton and needed some food and drink. Food was good beer was good and if you don't mind being ignored for awhile ok... More

We love the Prodigal Son, the Brews are always consistent, the food is 75% consistent. We continue to come back monthly as we live just over a hour away. The Calamari tacos are the only thing I ever order. The rest of the family, order burgers, fish and pasta, and say it is good but not always the best! The... More
