Good simple food.

Good food, busy as most of the restaurants in town are closed on Sundays. Pendleton is not a good city to visit on a Sunday.

My wife and I have eaten at Prodigal Son twice now and both times have been excellent. The service is friendly and the food and beer are very good. I especially like their onion rings and buffalo wings. We plan on eating there again the next time we visit Pendleton.

We are not much on hipster type places and brewpubs. We almost did not eat here. The real attraction at first, was they were dog friendly with the outdoor seating. Very few spots in Pendleton, where you can eat and have cocktail with a pet. Initially we thought they only had beer and we're more "cocktail people." It was a... More

Good food and beers. No complaints. Love the sweet potato fries. Bruce Lee beer my favorite. My girlfriend likes the huckelberry beer.

Very noisy, but good food and brew. If you want to be able to have a conversation, come to dinner a little later and avoid the after work crowd. Basic pub food done well, house favorite French fries are good . . . .

We stopped here on our way home from WWW. All of our food was really good and the portions were excellent! Great beers too. There were also some unique burgers and sandwiches on the menu, not just bar/brew pub food.

We have eaten at The Prodigal Son Brewery and Pub a couple of times while passing through Pendleton. The food is excellent for a small town and the service is pleasant and friendly. The menu is varied with daily specials.

The food was good and the beer excellent. Service was a little slow but they were very busy. Very good selection of beers with detailed descriptions in the menu.

Our son and daughter-in-law nearly insisted we stop here as our two-week vacation trek neared its end. I was glad they did. The microbrews were pretty good. Probably not great, but certainly good enough for my plebian beer palate. The food, though, was imaginative, well-prepared and featured mostly local products. The local brats were delicious, as were the other meets... More

The food was good and it was located in an interesting old building. The service was slow and forgetful.
