Always a pleasure

I have been coming to Prodigal Sun for years when I pass through on the way to Portland or on the way back to Idaho.

We did the flight of beers from the Blond to the potter. Both were excellent. I don't care for "bitter beers" I.E. IPA's so I'll not rate those even though my wife said the were pretty good. The blond "A beer named Sue" Is a full bodied Golden Ale. Not bitter. Ice Cold on a hot day and this it... More

Great selection of local brews. Very inexpensive for draft beers. I sampled three different beers and liked them all.

Great stop for lunch... Multiple beer sizes allow for a small taster that was perfect with the sandwich of the day! Would visit here again...

My husband and I ate a late lunch/early dinner here while traveling home. Husband got a pastrami burger special. He loved it and the homemade fries. I tasted the burger and it was delicious. I ordered the macaroni and cheese w/ chicken based on reviews. Wouldn't reccomend it. I have definitely had better. It was bland and dry and not... More

Yup, I love their macaroni and cheese...always have it with bacon and onion. They always seem to know that is my favorite thing to order...hard to beat. Their fish and chips are excellent, too.

Have the scots egg and a bottle of beer. The blueberry lemon tart was fantastic! Fun atmosphere, good service just a great place to hang out.

Prodigal does a nice job with its burgers, and has a nice selection of beer. The quality of the fries varies, and the pasta does not have sauce of any kind on it (don't order unless you like dry pasta).

Food took forever and wasn't very good. Second time we have eaten there and won't be back. The chicken blt sandwich was good, burgers not good, Mac and cheese was fair.

My husband loved the beer and I ate the best Caesar Salad in Oregon. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!
