Grateful Bread

Very pleasant and nice dining. So good, we went back a second time. Everything we had was fresh and made to order. Looked like very nice bakery items, but we did not try them on visits.

Our high light to Pacific city once a year is always a trip to grateful bread. The garlic spinach bread is a family favorite as well as the scones. You have to get those scones quickly because it is a tough decision and while you are deciding, they are disappearing! We just came in to buy bakery items. We did... More

Found this gem last year (2014) when staying in Pacific City. We went almost every day of our vacation it was so good! This year, we stayed in Lincoln City and had to make the trip twice, I love it so much. The breakfasts are amazing. I have never had even a mediocre meal here, they are all so good!... More

We stopped in Pacific City to have a bite while driving up the coast and it turned out to be a memorable meal. We were looking for something local and this perfectly fit the bill. It was well worth skipping the newer developed area near Haystack Rock and venturing into the older part of town. This is both a bakery... More

We love Pacific City, and Grateful Bread is part of the charm. The homemade bread and pies are to die for. If there is something you particularly want (like the raisin bread), order it the day before and have them hold it for you. All of the breads are delicious, as are the pies. Breakfast is good, too, it you... More

Wonderful is the word I use to describe Grateful Bread. We discovered this gem 13 years ago on our honeymoon and loved it then. We just went there again while vacationing with my parents. It was my favorite meal. Everyone loved what they had!! On the last day we were in town I wanted to get one of their scones... More

We went out for Mother's Day breakfast and had a slight wait if 30 minutes but it was worth it. We tried one of their blueberry scones which was one of the best ever. Our food was delicious as we had a wide variety from pancakes, omelettes, oysters and BLT.

I used to live in Oregon....9 years and we always made time to make the drive (1 1/2 hours to get here) for the beach and Grateful Bread!!! Best gingerbread pancakes and potatoes, cream cheese brownies, pizza everything is great. The service and owners are the best. Coming back in April and bringing my son for the first time. So... We like their fresh sandwiches and other lunch items. They also have a great bakery with large baked items. Food quality is good and prices are reasonable.

A friend and I had breakfast there yesterday. I had the hang town fry with potatoes and biscuits and my friend had a veggie omelet with potatoes and wheat bread. We each had coffee. The food was excellent. The bread and biscuits were home made in addition to the entrees being made to order. Coffee with refills was $1! The... More
