I ate here with my family for lunch on a July Monday. It was surprisingly busy when we first passed it at 11.30, but by the time we returned to eat at 1.30 pm it was fine and we were seated quickly. The actual time we waited for food was longer than I am accustomed to, but when we got... More

What a wonderful surprise. We stopped by when in town riding horses on the beach. They were actually closing and saw us pull into the driveway. A women came out and told us if we were interested she would let us in to see what she had left. Well I'll tell you we lucked out because those were the best... More

In coastal communities there seems to be an boatload of mediocre restaurants. Silly or mediocre service, so so meals, and all at full freight prices. Grateful Bread offers fresh meals made from scratch with skilled and friendly service. They offer breakfast and lunch 7:00-3:00 and are closed Wednesday. The grilled cod is fresh, not greasy, and served on a home... More

Come early to avoid the lines. This place is always busy in season and especially on weekends. And for good reason. Fresh baked goods and fresh food served in a gracious manner. Always wonderful and tasty. Not to be missed!

Marionberry scones, pumpkin cream cheese scones, giant cinnamon rolls, delectable baked goods. Fabulous breakfast options, service is pretty good, but stressed when busy. Great breakfast or lunch option in Pacific City.

We came for breakfast and enjoyed our choices very much. Carol had the simple 2 scrambled eggs with potatoes and whole grain toast. These must be giant chickens. There seemed like more than 2 eggs, scrambled fluffy and moist. The toast was delicious with the grain bread, with a nutty flavor. More about the potatoes later. I had the 3... More

Lots of options for breakfast - pancakes, French toast, and LOTS of omelette and scramble choices - the only thing missing was plain old fried eggs. They also have baked goods to go and a selection of tie-dyed t-shirts a la the Grateful Dead (which my dining companion appreciated). Everything was fresh, hot and tasty with prompt, attentive service.

This bakery is a little small but we'll worth the wait! They have excellent breakfast and coffee! I had the biscuits and gravy and it had so much flavor in my opinion the best I have ever had! All of their baked goods are delicious and you must get some to take home. I hope you enjoy this place as... More

Killer marionberry French toast and a wonderful, clean, newer, friendly place. All the locals told us about it, and we were very. Happy. Busy though, get there early....it was kinda like eating at someone's house. Awesome staff. Fun breads and hippie decor.
