Fabulous Food

My daughter, mom and myself arrived in Pacific City about 2pm. I had seen Grateful Bread on another visit, but they had already closed for the day so I was unable to eat there. Happily they were still opened at this time (they close at 3pm), so the 3 of us ordered lunch. Not only were the... read more

We went there twice to get dessert 'to go'. Dessert is a little sparse, usually one cookie selection, one cake selection and maybe one pie. Lots of scones and bread. The cookie was a little dry for my taste but the cake was moist. LOTS of plp there for breakfast and breakfast looked good, long lines out the door.

Wonderful Scones, great brownies and a happy atmosphere in this sunny, upbeat bakery and restaurant. We went back twice!

We visit Pacific City about a half dozen times a year and we always look forward to our visit to this great breakfast/lunch restaurant. The staff is cheerful, get to know your name and all have such great personalities. The owners and staff pay homage to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Bread with decorations and the colorful tie dyed t-shirts... More

Quick detour off of 101 to get the tastiest homemade scones, favorable herbed potatoes and a variety of egg scrambles. You can feel the love---right down to the tie dye t-shirts. Looks like this place has been making great bakery since 1991 (or longer...that was the oldest shirt on display). Thank you to the staff for a fab breakfast!

We were there early and did not have to wait to be seated, but it took about 30 minutes to get our food. The western omelet, French toast, and buttermilk pancakes were very good. The biscuits that came with the omelet were delicious! The line was out the door and down the ramp when we left around 9:30.

Surprise another place where there is often a wait in Pacific City, but this wait is well worth it! So good I went there for back to back mornings for breakfast. In total my wife and I tried 4 breakfast scrambles, gingerbread pancakes, blueberry pancakes, and french toast. Unlimited coffee for $1 may be the best deal I've ever seen... More

Our family met for breakfast here on the AM we left The CUT BELOW (they titled it a cut above). This is a very busy place, had to wait for a table, the wait staff is very good and go out of their way to be helpful. We all ordered different breakfast items, and all were very good. I'd surely... What can I say? This place is just right. Warm, friendly faces, scones and other baked goods that have been consistently excellent for years, and of course, the oven roasted red potatoes and the French toast. My favorites among others. This places has heart and soul and is a landmark in Pacific City and was here and cool long before... More
