This is the second time we have visited this amazing place. The beach where this pub sits is one of the prettiest places on the coast and very popular. It sits adjacent to a huge sand fine about 700 feet high. It seems like a thousand and a lot of people want to climb it. It is brutal. Deep... read more

We like the convivial atmosphere of this place and the view just can't be beat. The service was good and there was a wide variety of food. The seafood is good too.

We've been coming down here on an annual family trip for over 20 years. There's usually around 30 of us and we have one day to come into Pacific City to play, climb the dune and eat at Pelican Pub! Last night there was only 4 of us that came in for dinner and we were sooo disappointed!! We didn't... More

Nothing can beat the view of the haystack rock. Parking can be difficult as the beach and restaurant are very popular. The beers are very good but expensive for brewing it themselves. We only had calamari which was very good and a bit different (peppers and marinara sauce). Other people food looked good, but again, the prices are a bit... More

We stayed one night in Pacific City and decided to try Pelican's for dinner. The food was good and the beer was fresh and tasty. I had the special slow roasted tri tip sandwich which was very very good. My husband had the tri tip plate and we both agreed that we made the right choice. The meat was flavorful... More

We stopped in Pacific City and happened on the Pelican. It was late morning, I was on a chowder discovery trip up the Oregon coast, the Pelican advertised chowder so why not. I'm pleased to report it was very good. I can't speak to the rest of the menu or the beer brewed on-premise, but I do recommend the chowder.

We have eaten here more times than we can count over the years. We've done. breakfast, lunch dinner, and the breakfast buffet when it is offered. Service is good, the patio divine, however plan ahead. this place is always packed and you can count on about a 30 minute wait for lunch or dinner. It's worth the wait.

Wow - what a view. The food for all five of us was above average . . . and for that I am giving it a 'Very Good' rating. However, was disappointed that the outdoor seating ended at 8PM . . .sun doesn't go down until 9:30. While the service was friendly, it was very slow. So if your in... More

Aside from the great pub food and excellent location, I have a sentimental attachment to this Pub and Brewery. My husband and I have enjoyed great calamari, burgers, and great beers. We have enjoyed good service each time we've gone. It's a great place to visit on the Coast. We are from out-of-state but have make a pilgrimage to Pacific... More

There were 11 of us who were seated relatively quickly considering it was lunchtime. Our server, Shelley was brilliant. I had the beer flight deck and she gave me all the seasonal specialties to taste at no extra charge. The beers were excellent. The food was average, unfortunately. Two of older children sampled the salmon with the quinoa potato cakes... More
