Beer and Chowder

We put this on our list of "musts" for our Oregon Coast road trip and we were not disappointed. If you plan on eating then be prepared to be rushed. Loved the atmosphere of this place. Food was tasty and timely. Beer selection was A+. Definitely would go back. May get busy for dinner during the summer months. I went for lunch in the fall.

Housed in a brewery the beer is good but the food is average and overpriced. The staff is wonderful and the view is outstanding. Would recommend the Onion Rings but not much else.

I have come to this restaurant since I was a child and have always loved to eat here. The view is what always drives us in, and we keep returning because of the great service! You can tell when you walk in that there is great management. The servers are on top of their job and very generous. I spilled... More

The food is excellent but it is "spendy" for lunch. Great view of the beach. If you are a beer drinker you may enjoy the fact that the beer was made on the premises. The desserts are incredible. Loosen your wallet and enjoy the food. The service is excellent and our waiter was efficient as well as friendly.

If you want dinner with a view and don't mind waiting for it then this is the place for you. The food was average, service was good for how busy it was. Overall worth it for the great view.

I am giving 4 stars mostly for the award winning beer and spectacular view. The food was good but would give it 3'stars. A great place to visit on a sunny day and sit outside and sip a cold beer and look at and listen to the crashing waves.
