Nice - out of the way place -

This is a great little find that apparently people in that area are well aware of. It is definitely off the beaten path, a little bit tricky to get to. However, they have a delightful deck for summer dining and the restaurant inside has a cozy, rustic feel. I had a house salad with grilled wild... read more

We had been here for dinner several years ago and the food and service has gone downhill. We ate outside on the patio. I ordered the fish and chips and the grease temperature or batter must have been off. The fish batter was not cooked all the way through. My husband ordered a steak and it was very fatty. It... Friday, June 26th., took my niece and her husband there for their 5th anniversary and it was lovely. We sat outside, overlooking the Clackamas river, on a warm night and it was just .. special. I had paid in advance and the wait staff took over, made sure the couple didn't know..until the bill came, that it was paid. I... More

I had the portobello mushroom sandwich with sweet potato fries. Another had fish and chips. Great food and service. Nice view of the river. Will definitely go back.

We ate here last night for our date night after we had heard so many good things about it. We had reservations, so we got right in and were offered a choice of indoor our outdoor seating. We don't prefer to eat outdoors so we sat inside. The view from the inside is very minimal, but you can see parts... More

Good food. Supremely beautiful view looking down onto the Clackamas River. Great service. Good pricing. Stiff drinks. Outside deck seating with no reservation. Did I leave anything out?

Stopped in at lunch time on a sunny Saturday and had no wait and seated on the deck with view of the Clackamas river. We probably visit 3-4 times a year. Always great food and typically great service. Only reason for not giving an excellent review is I'm picky about my craft beers and the selection is never what I... More

The town of Carver used to be called stone, because of the large boulder's and basalt cliffs. This community was primarily a logging town. So this restaurant was built to preserve it's rich history, the logs are fir from the area and built on a basalt foundation. If you want to get a table outside, on a Sat. like the... More

This place is amazing...especially if you are able to sit outside...the views are spectacular of the Clackamas River...Food, good, drinks, good...recommend if you have people from out of town, this would be a good place to take them.

Had our company Christmas party here. They accommodated our group of about 20 without problem. The food was excellent. My only complaint was we were seated at one long table with the narrow end up against a wall. The decor is rustic and would have been nice to have the table situated the long direction to see the restaurant better.... More
