Comprehensive whiskey list

Unbelievable whiskey list, with selections from all over the planet. The bartender is very knowledgeable and can recommend a whiskey based on your preferences. Pub menu that fits well with it, I recommend the Scotch eggs. Intriguing building that seems very British even though its in the US - it... read more

We always have the fish and chips. With them we always get the carrots. They are always done just perfect. Great selection of beer also!

Since my most recent trip to Cornwall, England, I have been been in pursuit of the perfect pasty in or around Portland. I think I've found it. To help me judge, I brought with me my mother, who was raised in England, and her friend, who is the the former president of the Pacific Northwest Cornish Society. We are very... More

Best fish n chips away from the coast (huge portions)! Also, a very good selection of whisky and ale. During the warmer months you can enjoy a cigar on the patio overlooking the Willamette Falls. Live music is a plus.

I've enjoyed everything I've eaten here. It is fun to try a variety of Scotches. The UK oriented food choices are probably better than you'd find in the UK. It isn't possible for me to describe what this place is like. You can be out in the sun enjoying the view of the Willamette River or inside in a very... More

This is a Scottish pub and youd never expect its quality from its exterior, but this is a must eat and its next to a historical Clackamas county museum and a hydroelectric power station which are both interesting in tgeir own right. My mom is a conniseur of fish n chips and she said she cannot think of a place... More

If you have never been to Scotland then here is your chance to take it in. Great beverages snacks and meals to be had here. On a cold wet rainy day try the body warming Mac n Cheese, Cod fish n chips are some of the best in the local area so try that too. Spring and Sun its great... More

Having lived in the UK, I love having a place with the feel of a true pub. Love the eclectic seating areas (check out upstairs and outdoors). Great food (the fish 'n chips and pasties are quite good). Fun atmosphere. Good brews. We usually go for lunch when it is less crowded for meal and conversation.

We first discovered this pub about 4 years ago. Since then, we've returned about once a year. This time, however, we both thought that the food has gone downhill. We sat outside on the patio since the weather was so nice. Service was decent enough - not outstanding but good enough. It was Friday early evening and of course the... More

We've been going here for a few years now because of the great food and the large whiskey selection. One thing that never seems to get better here is the timely (or lack of timely) service. Just an example, we came in last weekend. The pub is a dimly lit place and you are to seat yourself when you enter.... More
