Surprised that the pies weren't all that great

I had better buying the Fred Meyer "Select" pie. Friends brought 2 pies for Christmas dinner one apple and I think the other pumpkin - we ate them both but I can't imagine we will try again. Looking forward to their restaurant and will update review then.

If you are looking for the cafe experience, where breakfast is served all day as well as a good lunch and dinner, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a place for a good cup of joe and dessert, this is also the place for you. Their breakfast is good, the coffee cake and biscuits are HUGE... More

we've eaten here each time we get to this area of the coast. foods always great. service was slow, we think they were short handed this time. previously this was not a problem. the only problem & its only happened this time was the cash register program didn't always match what was on the menu. the bakery items are wonderful

This place should be used as a model for cooking schools. The food is fresh, well prepared, and served on time. The owners apparently place importance on training their staff. The in house baker has talent worthy of a much larger city. While not quite "fine dining", Chalet is for sure worth your time for a pleasant meal.

Worst Halibut ever! Dry,tough, tasteless......no lemon, no salad......plain mayo as tartar sauce. A total waste of 16.00! Rude waitress. Fish over cooked...fries soggy and under cooked. My husband had a mushroom burger and said it was horrible. We could not eat our food. Very costly experience. I complained ,when I went to pay.......but they said everyone loves their fish.......really? NEVER... More

We went for dinner here after our regular restaurant was closed. Dinner was very tasty, and the waitress offered us two small gluten free muffins apiece with our meals. One chocolate and one blueberry. Just the right size of dinner: The red snapper was very good, and the grilled vegetables were nicely cooked. The steak dinner was also good. This... More

Had the best pumpkin, cheesecake homemade muffin to die for... We went in for breakfast and the first thing you see when you walk in the door is all the yummy homemade goodies in the case. We had the coffee cake, biscuits, muffins to go with our breakfast Lots of good food.

We are local and us "girls" like to get together for lunch, they have great soup/sandwich special, with pie for desert. Everything is always good, fresh, and quick friendly service...they don't even mind if we just "hang out" and yack over coffee if they are not busy. We always take our out of town visitors here for breakfast also.
