Neat building in a garden setting. I had a great bento, but my wife's chicken ceasar salad was not too good. Chicken was dry and way too many croutons. But, will definitely gp back.

We had a good dinner, but they were going to have live music that night so it was very crowded and noisy. We've eaten there before, and it is pretty reliable. Nothing fancy. Good choices for vegetarians.

Recently had dinner at Cafe Mundo. (Generally I phone and order take out because the service has declined over the past year.) The bottom line is the staff are slow and not pleasant. The food is good quality but doesn't make up for the subpar service.

If you like funky, creative, atmosphere and fresh food this is the place. We enjoyed freshly-brewed raspberry kombucha and nice local beers. Our lunch was relaxing and the ingredients were obviously real, local, and prepared with care.

We happened to walk into this place only because it was one of two places that seemed to be open late. The other was an Irish bar. I think I’ve been to enough of those being from Boston! This place has a very bohemian vibe to it. There are people with interesting tattoos and musical instruments and hair styles and... More

I really enjoyed the fish tacos made with grilled Albacore tuna. Tasty fresh ingredients in cool artsy environment. The potato soup was also excellent.

When visiting Newport Oregon, stop in for dinner at Cafe Mundo. There is a delicious special every night, vegetarian selections, music, and an all around great vibe. Sit up stairs and try the albacore burger and fresh fruit ice tea while listening to live music from downstairs. Love this place-especially since the entire experience will run about $9-18 per person.... More

The menu was diverse enough that we want to come back again and again to try different items! The atmosphere is earthy, laid back and unique! Very good espresso bar (they roast their own coffee too). Definitely a place to eat awesome food and chill out!

This was my second time eating at Cafe Mundo. The first time was delicious I had tha albacore burger. This time I ordered the same thing it was super fishy, I never complain but I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I told the waitress when she came around and she kindly said she woud remove it from my bill... More

Funky atmosphere; great food; friendly staff. Loved the grilled cheese sandwich with their homemade bread.
