This was a fun restaurant for dinner. The décor is hippie chic. The service is a bit slow, but the ringing bell and dumbwaiter was fun to watch. We loved the bento bowl, homemade tomato soup, and homemade bread. Just beware of the menu: when the kids' menu says it has a peanut butter sandwich -- that is all that... More

Funky - filled with art, great atmosphere, good food -love their fish tacos and sushi but there burger is good too. I discovered Rick Bartow's art and music there. Bartown musician and songwriter performs most Saturday nights with the Backseat Drivers.

We found this place on my phone with an app, it had the best reviews for places to eat near our hotel. It's a great little place with a cool atmosphere with outside seating with little firepits for every table. Average pricing, Great food and Great drinks!

This is my go-to-place when I'm in Newport. Their coffee is very good. Their food...well, I wish I was there right now. Excellent food and a great place to hang out. The vibe of the place is chill, artistic, funky, and hippie all in a good way.

Excellent food preparation and atmosphere. Remember to ask if there is cilantro in your fish tacos. Live music, local musicians.

I can't say enough good things. Everything was outstanding! We had the best babaganoush we've ever had, the albacore fish tacos were delicious and the tempeh bowl was awesome and scrumptious and too big to finish! The server was great and we loved the eclectic art.

Went on A Friday night. The place was packed and had a 20 min wait. We didn't mind though because there was a great band playing. The service was a little slow, but like I said they were very busy. Good food, I had the tempeh burger & the bf had grilled cheese. Both were yummy. Oh and the local... More

We were walking past and figured a restaurant with a sign "Squirrel, the other white meat" in the yard should be worth a try. The place is like a 70's timewarp with eclectic decoration. Most of the seating is upstairs in a big open room served by a hand-operated dumb waiter. My husband and I each had a cup (more... More

It took us a while to try this place, but it is now on our regular rotation of dining spots. It's a funky place, but the food is really good. We like it for lunch, but they have live music in the evenings on the weekends, so it one be a nice choice for dinner as well.

Food is great and more importantly they are dog friendly here. We came with our son and his girlfriend with a couple of active dogs. We could tie their leases to structures in the courtyard Very friendly and accommodating staff I had the world Cheese sandwich.
