Very good service & tasty food

My husband and I ate dinner here on our way home from the Redwoods. After camping for days we were really craving Chinese. We weren't disappointed! We had spicy beef with green beans and family dinner, they were both great.

First time I have EVER had an owner argue with me when I said there is a problem with the meal. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and the meat tasted really spoiled to me and my guest so I asked to please replace with something else.Wow,what happened next was a real shock! The owner was very defensive and insisted that... More

Way above average old fashioned Chinese restaurant. Cleaner, fresher, less greasy, calming music playing. Lunch is around $8.00. For ten dollars I had Mar Far chicken, fried shrimp, bbq pork low mein, and egg roll and soup. The shrimp has less breading and tastes better than most. The Mar Far chicken is equally crispy without being heavy and greasy.

The service was very good, but the food was very bland. Both dishes were in a mostly tasteless broth that was super boiling hot and took a long time to cool. The cod bowl had plenty of fish, but it had some kind of breading on it (shades of the frozen food aisle). The vegetables in the beef with vegetables... More

Have enjoyed Kam Meng since they opened on the Bayfront many years ago. Still great food and lovely family. A friend brought us takeout last week when we were too sick to leave home--perfect food for recuperating as well enjoying anytime. Clean, fresh food every time!

We went to lunch here on a Sunday in January because of high reviews online. Seated promptly; given menus; and asked for tea. The tea is served in individual coffee mugs .. a little different having no 'teapot' but the tea was good. We ordered from the lunch menu combos which typically have one main entree, an appetizer of sorts... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Gleneden Beach. The restaurant had been highly recommended to us. We were seated promptly and menus, ice water and tea were offered. There is an extensive menu with lunch specials and combination lunch and dinner menus. Prices were modest, fresh food servings more than ample and served hot.... More

Kam Meng came highly recommended but for me was more about the decor than the food. The art featured on the walls is beautiful but the meal was only average at best. If atmosphere is your most important ingredient then I would say give them a try.

This restaurant accommodates gluten-free diners. The food is the best Chinese we've ever had. It is not loaded with soy sauce, is light, flavorful and not greasy like most Chinese cuisine. The owner has a remarkable life story, plays the piano beautifully with no knowledge of music or lessons and is an accomplished artist. Her outlook on life is enlightening.... More

It was acceptable. I had the Spicy Korean soup - served in a large stainless bowl & it was a big portion. Overall, I enjoyed the flavor. The server was friendly and would try different dish when I return.
