Though the laid-back beach town atmosphere of this place was fun, its food was forgettable. We had a passable mushroom omelet with spinach and eggs over-easy served with what they called "Italian sausage." Said link was dry and bland, unaided by its pool of marinara sauce that seemed like an afterthought--perhaps to convince us that the sausage was "Italian"? To... More

This is one of our favorite food places for breakfast or lunch in Newport. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is great. They have plenty of healthy options and great coffee. The portions are huge and big enough for at least 2 people.

Loved the style of this restaurant! You pay before your meal and are left in peace to enjoy the DELICIOUS food. Laid back, well worth it. Great view.

The ordering system is a cumbersome line, and there is no wait service after they deliver your food to your table. If you want something, you’ve got to join queue again. A simple cheese omelet was so enormous I could not eat it all. Coffee refills are not free, so get the larger cup if your habit is to drink... More

A friend called me raving about the French Press coffee she had here; my response, "well, yes, we've been going here for years. Did you try a pastry or any of their breakfast dishes while you were there?" And our grandson has loved this spot for years because of the pancakes that lop over all sides of the plate. I've... More

We decided to try something new and went down to the historic waterfront to eat at The Coffee House. It's pretty close to Ripley's Believe it or not. The restaurant was small. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It was crowded and we got the last table, you seat yourself. The coffee was excellent,... More

Great house made food for breakfast and lunch. They are right on the Bayfront with a great view across the street of the bay.

I love this place and so glad I found it on TripAdvisor. You order your food, find a seat and wait for them to call your name and bring out your food to you - it's nice to enjoy the view or your company while waiting. I wish I had ordered hot chocolate because it was cute coming out in... More

Many people seem to think this is the best breakfast in town -- if you have the time to wait. Personally I like to have hot coffee with my breakfast. With a lot of people waiting to order we ordered our coffee with breakfast. The coffee, which was good but not great, came way before breakfast, so it was lukewarm... More
