Best oysters on the Oregon Coast!

The Coffee House has great coffee--and that's just for starters. They also do amazing things with eggs--fried, poached, scrambled, in omelets with everything but the kitchen sink. And they do beautiful breakfast breads, including killer biscuits--big, light fluffy biscuits--and bacon, did I... read more

The Coffee House has great coffee--and that's just for starters. They also do amazing things with eggs--fried, poached, scrambled, in omelets with everything but the kitchen sink. And they do beautiful breakfast breads, including killer biscuits--big, light fluffy biscuits--and bacon, did I mention the thick cut, crisply cooked bacon? We come to the Coffee House for all those things, but... More

Favorite breakfast spot! Great food, portions are out of control! Service is good, atmosphere is great for an informal breakfast place with a nice view. ONLY complaint: Mimosa is always weak on champagne. We love this place!!!

This place is always busy for breakfast - and a very enjoyable hangout later in the morning and early afternoon. So many items on the menu we've yet to try, but we love the omelettes and potatoes and coffee for sure! Great deal on Rogue brews as well...

Just stopped in for a late breakfast, and had a really great breakfast sandwich on fresh foccia bread, my traveling companion had an omelette that looked lovely and the other had a pretty amazing looking burger. Simple good stuff, tasted like top choice ingredients. It ain't cheap, but it's worth it, huge freakin' sandwich, very clean place, the waitress was... More

Though the laid-back beach town atmosphere of this place was fun, its food was forgettable. We had a passable mushroom omelet with spinach and eggs over-easy served with what they called "Italian sausage." Said link was dry and bland, unaided by its pool of marinara sauce that seemed like an afterthought--perhaps to convince us that the sausage was "Italian"? To... More

This is one of our favorite food places for breakfast or lunch in Newport. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is great. They have plenty of healthy options and great coffee. The portions are huge and big enough for at least 2 people.

Loved the style of this restaurant! You pay before your meal and are left in peace to enjoy the DELICIOUS food. Laid back, well worth it. Great view.

The ordering system is a cumbersome line, and there is no wait service after they deliver your food to your table. If you want something, you’ve got to join queue again. A simple cheese omelet was so enormous I could not eat it all. Coffee refills are not free, so get the larger cup if your habit is to drink... More

A friend called me raving about the French Press coffee she had here; my response, "well, yes, we've been going here for years. Did you try a pastry or any of their breakfast dishes while you were there?" And our grandson has loved this spot for years because of the pancakes that lop over all sides of the plate. I've... We decided to try something new and went down to the historic waterfront to eat at The Coffee House. It's pretty close to Ripley's Believe it or not. The restaurant was small. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It was crowded and we got the last table, you seat yourself. The coffee was excellent,... More
