Bring a friend. You can't eat this omelette by yourself

More than just a coffee house. Huge omelettes that are easily shared. We shared a veggie omelette that was stuffed with fresh veggies along with hash browns and some of the best wheat bread ever. We also had a marionberry scone which was also very tasty and loose leaf green tea. Most excellent... read more

It might take a little bit to get your food, but definitely worth the wait! One meal is enough to share with someone else. Coffee filtered fresh with each cup. All breads made there.... Delicious! Will make it an annual thing!

We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and were delighted by the beachy, but not kitchy, decor of the Coffee House. I had the bacon, tomato and onion omelet and my wife had the ham and cheese, both served with potatoes and a biscuit. Wifey went for the fresh squeezed orange juice and me the good, strong coffee. The... More

An odd spice was in their clam chowder soup (thyme, maybe?), our fish sandwich was soggy and the service was just so-so....not very friendly nor prompt and we were pretty much left on our own. The view was also disappointing. Probably our least favorite lunch in Newport. Give it a pass, there are much better restaurants in this charming little... More

Good place for breakfast. Not a cookie cutter style restaurant. Unpretentious and comfortable place with good offerings. I especially enjoyed the view of the working harbor.

A wonderful place to have breakfast, great omelets, home fried potatoes, and coffee to die for. Then you have the view of the fishing boats on the bay. Good service, and friendly staff. We have been enjoying the food there for years.

We discovered the Coffee House a few years ago and loved it. In fact, it was one reason we opted for Newport over some other places on the coast for our mini-break this March. We were sad to see that the deck had been enclosed since our last visit but we figured the food would still be fine. It wasn't.... More

The Coffee House has great coffee--and that's just for starters. They also do amazing things with eggs--fried, poached, scrambled, in omelets with everything but the kitchen sink. And they do beautiful breakfast breads, including killer biscuits--big, light fluffy biscuits--and bacon, did I mention the thick cut, crisply cooked bacon? We come to the Coffee House for all those things, but... More

Favorite breakfast spot! Great food, portions are out of control! Service is good, atmosphere is great for an informal breakfast place with a nice view. ONLY complaint: Mimosa is always weak on champagne. We love this place!!!

This place is always busy for breakfast - and a very enjoyable hangout later in the morning and early afternoon. So many items on the menu we've yet to try, but we love the omelettes and potatoes and coffee for sure! Great deal on Rogue brews as well...
