we stopped in Newport for breakfast and found this place and had the best breakfast ever! it has great vegetarian selections and the portions were good and filling so that we weren't hungry for the rest of the day until dinner! Very filling and delicious. we raved about this place the whole oregon coast because nothing compared to it afterwards... More

Every time I come to Newport I go to this cozy place. Not only do they have vegan options, they can make almost anything to order. Super friendly, great view of the docks and waterway at a quiet section of the Old Town "strip," as well as outside seating. A must visit!

During our travels along the entire Oregon coast, this was our top breakfast resraurant. The staff was very friendly and made our children feel welcome. The food was amazing and fresh. The portion sizes were substantial, so even our teenager walked away full. We ate here twice and highly recommend it!

We've never seen this place packed - and usually get a seat if we are there early. They have giant (and delicious) omelets, wonderful coffee options, amazing fresh cookies, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We visited the Coffee House in Newport to give them a second chance. It had been excellent, but we had experienced a decline in quality on our last visit. I'm happy to report that our breakfast (breakfast sandwich and veggie omelet) were perfect. I had a latte which was excellent. My wife had an iced chai and found it to... More

Ruined the perfect place :/ The Coffee House WAS the perfect place for good food and an AMAZING million dollar view. Judy, the owner, enclosed the outside seating area to make more “covered” seating. Makes sense; increased seating means more money… right? The result is a once beautiful setting for good food, friendly conversation and a wonderful view. Now its... More

We were directed to this restaurant by the lady at the motel. The wife and I found the place next to the Ripleys Believe it or not complex. This is an actual house converted into a restaurant. You walk in and stand in line to place your order, then find a place to sit. After awhile your drinks show up... More

We loved this little place! Had a great breakfast here before we went on our whale watching tour. I love that you order/pay first at the counter, then they bring your food to you. The homemade bread is delicious! Huge servings, fresh squeezed orange juice and yummy bacon. My husband had the hash and said it was the best he... More

We were so surprised to find The Coffee House in this touristy town. But it's in a quieter corner down by the harbor with mostly locals hanging out. The latte was perfect, with foam seemingly thick enough to float a dine (do not try this in public...) and great espresso. The maple Danish was big enough, and tasty enough for... More
