Description: Located in a home built in 1919, PANACHE has a warm and inviting atmosphere. 100 year old English pub tables add plenty of character to the dining room. PANACHE sources as much as possible locally, with the amount of local product growing month by month and uses only wild caught fish. PANACHE focuses on American cuisine that draws influence from all over Europe as well as other parts of North America. The wine list features over 40 Northwest bottles of wine. Wine is not the only diverse adult beverage as Panache also has a varied craft beer selection from light and easy drinking to dark and full of character. When Chef Zach was in Colorado he got hooked on craft spirits. PANACHE carries craft distilled spirits mainly from Oregon but a few from Europe and other US states as well.

A party of 14 when to dinner here one evening. The service was awlful. The food not much better. Very over priced. No one in the party were happy with the food or service. The waistresses acted like they didn't have to be nice or answer any questions we had because they knew they would get a tip no matter... More

We had dinner Sat.evening.There was 5 of us and it was about 9pm. The fish and the lamb was excellent. The only disappointment is they I and my two sons ordered clams and the waiter came back and said they only had enough for one person. It seems to me that if you are at the beach andorder sseafood they... More

They have a nice selection of appetizers and small plates. When we travel, we prefer small meals. We ordered 5 different items and all were good except for the grilled shortrib. They brought me a replacement even though I did not want one. Still not good. Just don't think a short rid should be grilled. Now I know. Service was... More

Dinner with friends who have a great wine palate. The list is extensive and expensive. We had reservations for a later hour and called to move them up. Big hassle to get the time changed, yet when we arrived the place was almost empty - and was totally empty when we finished our dinner. Not certain what that was all... More

The true test of a restaurant is how they treat solo travelers. This restaurant blew an opportunity for my repeat business as well as referrals to my traveling friends. Here's why. Expensive, but it was supposed to be unique and fresh. It was neither. Mostly, the service ruined any chance of enjoyable. I asked for a table near the window... More

I was a little concerned that there were no other customers in the restaurant when we arrived for Saturday lunch, but this turned out to be one of the best meals I've had at the Oregon Coast. The clams were in a creamy sauce, unusual but tasty. The housemade bread was wonderful. The crab cakes were amazing, all crab with... More

It's a very small place yet it took forever to not only get a menu to us, but also to serve our drinks and food. They were out of several things on the menu, so that was awkward especially given the menu wasn't that extensive to begin with. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth raving about either. Portions... More

Four of us experienced a wonderful birthday-celebration dinner at Panache. The food was outstanding, the service was first-class, and they have a very nice wine list. The next time we visit Newport, we'll most certainly return to this great restaurant.

I recommend Panache, but don't go expecting "fine dining" as their website advertises. It's a nice place, good service (mostly) with fairly priced, good food. Food - some dishes great, some average Service - Waitress was great, but kitchen sent dishes out one at a time. If the first people served had waited for the rest of us to get... More

We are frequent diners and this was perhaps the worst and most unprofessional experience we have ever had. The food was tepid, the entrees were brought out and placed on the table before the appetizer plates were cleared and when a dish was sent back it was brought back out on the same plate. This is one place to be... More
