The restaurant is open for Friday evening tapas which are actually small plates of non-Spanish food. There is an extensive collection of wines. On Fridays you can select any wine on the shelves to drink at your table without a corkage or or additional markup. They also have wines by the glass. the new owners have abolished the corkage fee! This is truly a gem for the Oregon coast- excellent food and a terrific wine selection to accompany your meal. more

My son and I visited the restaurant while vacationing on the west coast. Not only is the wine selection outstanding, but the food is fantastic. We went on a Friday, when it was tapas night, and also got a dinner to go on a different night. Both were amazing. The chef and owner visited our table and were most hospitable.... more

The Champagne Patio in SeaTowne Village (north end of Newport) has a unique Scandanavian flavor (by the owner chef) and the best selection of wines on the west coast. The soups and sandwiches are to die for - and whatever the daily special is would make your whole day. This place should be THE definition of BEST in Newport. more
