Aroma of garlic as you enter & the best of service! You'll arrive as a quest but leave as a long time patron, enjoy!

What a hidden little treasure on the bayfront in Newport! It's not fancy, but its comfortable and DELICIOUS!!! We had read some of the reviews and decided we had to give this place a try in November 2013, then came again for Valentines day and the week after. We need to try something different next time, each time we've ordered... More

We had oyster shooters, cioppino, and clam linguini. Wow! Everything was wonderful. The service was friendly and enthusiastic, yet gave us enough space to enjoy our meal. We will definitely be back!

Sharks is a small, quaint restaurant that is easy to overlook if you're not looking for it, but I would definitely suggest not looking over this little gem of a restaurant. The prices are a bit steep, but what you get is definitely worth what you spend. The owners are some of the sweetest, friendliest, genuine people I have ever... More

Food is good, no frying. Very small, intimate for sure. The pricing is horrific for this area. My husband ordered bouillabaiss, $45.00 a bowl! Worse yet it was during the winter Dungeness season and he was served king crab, definitely not local. Local Ocean will be packed and Sharks will be empty for a reason. It is unfortunate. Sharks has... More

This place is great! Finally, a place on the Coast where all of the food is not fried but rather steamed or broiled to perfection. The bouillabaisse is out of this world. I've eaten it all over the world and this is as good as any I've ever had. The prices are not cheap but in this instance the quality... More

The food is about the best you can find in Newport. The décor is a bit funky, and the restaurant is small. But if you come during the week you won't have to wait for a table. Cioppino and gumbo are unmatched. Don't expect white tablecloths - just great seafood.

Went to this restaurant after reading great reviews and was a little disappointed. the food was good and tasty but overpriced. my husband and dad had the dungeoness crab and it was very nice but extremely expensive for the amount of actual crab meat they got. The staff were wonderful and very helpful regarding the food and menu. I would... More

Love this little gem. The atmosphere is simple but a perfect "dock style" restaurant. But even if you are looking for something fancier...don't! You would be missing out on the best seafood in town. You will love the steamer clams and the catch of the day. The salad and steamed veggies are so fresh. But you must, simply MUST order... More

This is a little 'hole-in-the-wall' type place so not a lot of seating, although we stopped by on a Saturday night and snagged a couple spots at the 'bar' right away. If you're at the bar, you get to watch the food cook in some unique-looking contraptions that were salvaged from a submarine. The cook is a nice fella, and... More
