Our chowder was mediocre at best Tasted like it had been sitting on a warmer with no attention for way too long. Thick and pasty with no real flavor to speak of. We also had oyster stew. No other way to put it; it sucked. Oysters so overcoked and no flavor what so ever. Hard for me to belive the... More

We love the Annex. We are always bewildered as to why the "original" Mo's across the street is always so packed. It has no view, no atmosphere and I must be missing something. This Mo's gets busy, sure. But we are always seated fairly quickly and most tables have a wonderful view of the bay. The service is good, though... More

he restaurant opened on the Newport bay front in the 1940's. I ate their a lot in the 1970's and the 1980's until I moved to the midwest. When I returned to Oregon in 1996, I eagerly awaited my first trip to Mo's in almost 20 years. This location at Otter Rock is small and funky, but the location is... More

Been here several times. Portions are smaller than in Taft. I get the cod sandwich here because they don't have a deep fryer at this location....therefore I can't get fish n' chips. The cod filet on the sandwich is equivalent to 'Skippers' portions. Other Mo's outlets consistently beat the annex. The chowder was great as usual though.

This little restaurant is on the bay in Old Town Newport. Not very big but boy does it have good seafood and clam chowder. The Tuna and Crab melts are made with fresh homemade bread!

We arrived right before the lunch rush during spring break! We were greated immediately and had ordered and recieved our food within 10 minutes. Great with two hungry kiddos. Great, affordable prices and good quantity and quality!

Don't know what the hub-bub about this place is all about. It's the Denny's of seafood. Thick, potato heavy chowder with little flavorings. All the seafood is frozen which is ironic being on the wharf.

A few times we arrived at the Newport Bayfront and the Annex was closed. Bummer! A couple times we went to the Original Mo's across the street. The wait to seat was terrible both times. The service super slow too. So now if the Mo'c Annex is closed we skip eating in Newport. The Annex has large windows showing the... More

Fun, nice view, great food. Gotta have the chowder, or add shrimp in a bread bowl. Lots of other great things on the menu. Love the bay shrimp dinner salad.
