Was fun having dinner while watching the fishing boats offload their catch. The food was very good and service was very good.

Great chowder...shrimp skewers. Service was excellent. An outstanding way to spend a sunny September afternoon!

Good cobbler...served with three scoops of ice cream! Chopping was ok...not the best but ok. Service was acceptable but a bit slow when few customers were there. Staff seemed happy with one another. Bread was basic. Easy to find on main thoroughfare.

We only stepped in to get some clam chowder to go, but the place was hoppin' and it smelled great in there! The clam chowder was outstanding!

Mo's was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! We got a great table with a great view! We highly recommend the grilled halibut sandwich and of course the clam chowder. Deborah was an awesome server. She helped make the lunch special!

This is the location on the water. If you want calamari or fried food, go across the street to their other location. Shrimp salad was great (in both Newport locations). Try the pink shrimp salad (cabbage with a yummy dressing and a mound of "pink" shrimp.

We went with grandkids for dinner out while on vacation. Food was mediocre and service poor. Our waitress literally dropped the ice cream bars for dessert in the middle of the messy, uncleared table. I don't know why their chowder gets raves. I'm from New England and Mo's must not have gotten the recipe. Why anyone would stand in line... More

I have loved Mo's restaurant for many years. Fond memories. Ordered chowder to go, and a shrimp cabbage salad. Both were good. Chowder was hot with fair amount of clams. Shrimp on the salad were very fresh. Service was odd. Had to ask 3 people to place a Togo order. Finally went back to first person and she helped me.... More

Overall the food was just that, "Pretty OK".... The view was very nice. I am a huge fan of chowder in a bread bowl but this was just ok. No frills, nothing special. Kind of expected a bit more being right on the coast, but not so much. Would come back again, but would order something different.
