Book the dinner with the room

We enjoyed the dinner and getting to know our fellow table mates. If you want a quiet dinner for two, this is not for you.

This is our third time at the Tables of Content, and by far the worst. The food was just average with over cooked tuna (the tuna was cooked well done for everyone, what a shame), small portions (one-half of a small artichoke was the appetizer) and bad dessert (ice-cream that tasted like store-bought vanilla with gummy bears mixed in sitting... This was a fun dinner. Three of us were teamed with three strangers at a large table. Quite a friendly evening of telling truths and lies to each other over dinner. The sunset was delightful, right out the window and all over that beach. Varying reviews on the food. The lamb entree was fabulous. Very lovely floral presentation. The lamb... More

In fact, digging into the social side of a dinner at Tables of Content is an important part of a satisfying meal, either breakfast or dinner, but especially the latter. You may be newly weds wanting only to make eyes at each other, but your more likely going to be seated with other's who've been there and done that. And... More

My husband and I had a great time here. By far, this restaurant has the best view in Newport. We have eaten at Georgie's and other restaurants of the ocean, but this one is the best. The windows are huge and unobstructed, and the restaurant is right on the beach. The food was amazing and was spaced perfectly. We had... More

My wife and I went here as a celebratory dinner and it was a place we've been keeping our eye on for over a year. We were not disappointed! After you make your reservation, they ask that your party arrives at the hotel 10-15 minutes prior to seating. You do have assigned seating and when we went the smallest table... More

one sitting and seated with other guests--you get to know each other by the end of the meal with a little game--have been twice and the food is great--one price for soup/salad, entree dessert and coffee and all overlooking the ocean during sunset--wonderful!

This is so much fun! The food is amazing. The folks at the Sylvia set you up in tables and have you play a game. You get to know fellow travelers and have quite a lot of fun. It's not terribly expensive for what you get: great food and a wonderful evening!

I have dined in many 5 star restaurants and none of them could have topped the TOC for style, class, presentation and the food was Divine! It is served family style and they serve three entree's a night with 4-5 courses. Dinner is not rushed. Conversation is encouraged. And the company is fabulous. You are seated with strangers and nearly... More
