Amazing food and a beautiful view!!

My husband and I had a great time here. By far, this restaurant has the best view in Newport. We have eaten at Georgie's and other restaurants of the ocean, but this one is the best. The windows are huge and unobstructed, and the restaurant is right on the beach. The food was amazing and was spaced... read more

Already reviewed this in the related post. Fun, communal dinner games with other guests, great food, friendly service.

My wife and I went here as a celebratory dinner and it was a place we've been keeping our eye on for over a year. We were not disappointed! After you make your reservation, they ask that your party arrives at the hotel 10-15 minutes prior to seating. You do have assigned seating and when we went the smallest table... More

one sitting and seated with other guests--you get to know each other by the end of the meal with a little game--have been twice and the food is great--one price for soup/salad, entree dessert and coffee and all overlooking the ocean during sunset--wonderful!

This is so much fun! The food is amazing. The folks at the Sylvia set you up in tables and have you play a game. You get to know fellow travelers and have quite a lot of fun. It's not terribly expensive for what you get: great food and a wonderful evening!

I have dined in many 5 star restaurants and none of them could have topped the TOC for style, class, presentation and the food was Divine! It is served family style and they serve three entree's a night with 4-5 courses. Dinner is not rushed. Conversation is encouraged. And the company is fabulous. You are seated with strangers and nearly... More

Excellent meal, although the server was not especially warm, but was fairly efficient. The game Two Truths and a Lie is fun and adds to the family style setting. You can pass if you would rather and that was fine.

Tables of Content has excellent food. I dined there a few times during my stay in Newport and each time the food was wonderful. There was usually an appetizer, salad, bread, entree, and dessert for $25. Wine was extra (about $7/glass). The food was fresh, innovative, and filling. You'll choose your entree that day as the menu changes daily. From... More

Very good restaurant serving only breakfast to guests of the hotel and dinner to anyone. Dinner is $25/person; wine and beer extra. You'll enjoy the small family style seating and get to know other guests. Highly recommended.

The dinner at the Sylvia Beach Hotel (served downstairs at the cleverly named Tables of Content, to complement the literary theme of the hotel) is a screaming deal. For $25.00 per person, you get a hearty, multi-course meal with a starter, salad, plenty of veg, your choice of entrée, and dessert. Alcohol (reasonably priced) and tip are extra. You are... More
