Arrived at the restaurant Friday night for our 7:30pm reservation. The place was empty only three tables being used of about 15. Proceeded to be seated in a tight corner table for 2 with one of the seats facing a wall, and our menus placed in front of us....both upside down. We were brought out some mush on a plate... More

I shared a meal here with a friend of mine last week. Stone Crest had been recommended to me many times. I was not disappointed! The service (Ask for Denise! Although all of the wait staff appeared to be professional and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their meals too) was friendly, expedient and fun. The food was great.... More

Maybe not heaven, but the next best thing! The wine was amazing and the food was even better! Great staff, very knowledgeable. The chef is fantastic! His specials were incredible. Nothing but good things! A. Great. Place.

There are many good restaurants in Newport but I have to say this is the best we have come across, The food was excellent. We sampled the Zucchini appetizer, the pork and the rigatoni. All exceeded our expectations and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. This is definitely a restaurant we will return to many... More

The star of the show here is the food. They have a short menu but good variety. Each of dishes was delicious. In addition to the regular menu, they offered several specials, all based on local fresh ingredients. They have a short wine list but my recommentation would be to try the tasting menus. They offer a flight of several... More

Like other reviewers, I wasn't expecting much from this small, but intimate restaurant, just off of Hwy 101 in Newport. Wow, were we surprised. Everything was freshly prepared and top notch from the service, to the very generous wine fight, appetizers, main course, and tiramisu dessert. We sat at the bar to have dinner. We could see glances of the... More

This Italian restaurant was recommended by our B & B which was their favorite. We ate there for dinner on May 03, 2014 . The service was exceptional, the food and wine were reasonably priced and was outstanding! We ordered the shrimp and spare rib dinners and both were delicious. A wine sampling before dinner was also offered and we... More

We just stayed 5 nights in Newport, and this was by far the best meal we had. What a jewel tucked away in a small strip mall. It doesn't look like much from the outside but is quit charming inside. We started with a wine tasting ( and were a bit disappointed to find out these were not Stonecrest wines.).... More
