We went here for dinner and I ordered the steam clams in a bucket. They were absolutely delicious! Their bread is really good too. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the nice hospitality of our waitress. No alcohol ordered, just a nice quiet dinner in a quaint place. Great experience!

I've reviewed the Sandbar & Grill before. But last night I had a half order of their steamer clams as an appetizer for the first time. Without a doubt they were the best clams I've ever had in a restaurant! The serving would have been plenty for two people to share, and the garlic butter for dipping was perfect. The... More

If you're looking for a quick drink, stop here. If you're looking for nice people, stop here. If you're looking for a view of the ocean, stop here and go upstairs. If you're looking for a non-bar atmosphere, don't stop here. We were very happy with our stop here. We will stop again.

This place really is a hidden gem it looks like a locals bar from the outside but when you get up stairs the have a beautiful view of the ocean an outside patio and the best seafood I have had on the coast yet. You have to try the steamer clams best on the Oregon coast. Our server Darby was... More

This is our favorite place to go for a mussels or clams, shrimp, crab cakes and other delights from the sea. The casual, but colorful, dining room is upstairs from the bar, reached by a back stairs. It is worth the effort to find it. There is a terrace for summer dining too, with a view of the ocean. We... More

We were in the bar/lounge, not the restaurant. We can here to watch a local college football team on their TVs. The door was propped open since it was a nicer day, but every-time a smoker went outside to light up, their smoke would be blown indoors. When we asked the managers to close the door, they told us the... More

Absolutely fantastic food! Put your snooty side away and come taste some of the best seafood ever! Actually maybe I don't want you too.....cause then I will enjoy it for what it is and not what YOU would turn it in to!! Fabulous food, awesome view and an excellent waitress ( Darby ). We think it was one of our... More

My wife and I went here on the recommendation of the desk clerk at our motel. This was by far the best meal on our road trip from Santa Cruz CA to Portland OR. It feels like a little sticky floor local bar but upstairs you will find a more suiting dining room. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Even... More

We had actually intended to eat at April's, but they were closed on a Monday (for dinner at least), so we wandered around looking for an alternative until we found this place. Didn't expect much, but we were hungry, and the menu looked decent. Boy, were we surprised! My "Halibut Parmesan" was absolutely delicious (just enough of flavor to complement... More

We wanted an ocean view while dining, so we ended up here. We were the only people in the restaurant and as we'd asked already about the dinner specials, I felt embarrassed about leaving, but the view was partially obscured by the air conditioning unit. The dinner special was halibut which my husband said was very good. I ordered the... More
