Good beer but only decent food

The beer is good, no doubt!, but the food was distinctly lacking. The tots were boring and bland. My veggie sandwich was the same. The Kobe beef meatball appetizer, boring and uninspiring. Nice views and great beer so go for those reasons and don't expect great food at reasonable prices.

We went for the brew tour, it started way to late for us, but we did do a little shopping in their shop. After we were guided upstairs to their restaurant. Rustic looking on the bay. We were the first in but by the time we left the place was full, mid week lunch. I ordered the 1/2 pound Kobe... More

We had dinner and drinks here after going on the 90 minute tour (Do the tour if you have time!!!) Food was good but the drinks were even better. The atmosphere was fun and we played games while we indulged. Order a Snickers! It's amazing!

The restaurant in located in part of the brewery. So, not the best atmosphere, but overlook for the food. The fish and chips-is halibut, nice moist, light batter. My husband had the albacore and chips very moist and lightly battered. The service was good, a bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday night.

Went there a few times during our week in Newport. Each time was consistently good service and good food. Even very kid friendly for our 2 year old and 5 year old!

My wife and I were in Newport Friday (6/19) and decided to stop in at the Brewer’s on the Bay Brewpub inside the Rogue Ales Brewery. We were seated at a nice quiet table in the back. We ordered a couple of pints; she had the Shakespeare stout Big A-- porter; both good choices. However, we also ordered the beer... More

I was a bit puzzled when my son recommended this restaurant for lunch with two kids under 5, and I was very impressed. Just walking into the restaurant you get a tour through the brewery, a great view of the bay, and the food was terrific. My husband and I don't drink beer, but that didn't matter. I would definitely... More
