Good beer but only decent food

The beer is good, no doubt!, but the food was distinctly lacking. The tots were boring and bland. My veggie sandwich was the same. The Kobe beef meatball appetizer, boring and uninspiring. Nice views and great beer so go for those reasons and don't expect great food at reasonable prices.

I am a local and have been eating here for years. I come for the good beer and ocean view. On my last two visits we had a girl named kristal and I am sorry so say we will not be returning. We had Horrible service and will not be back again. wouldn't recommend this place unless you want something... More

The ABSOLUTE best Fish & Chips anywhere!!! Excellent service and fantastic beer... Dead Guy beer is the #1 choice. In my opinion.

I was a bit puzzled when my son recommended this restaurant for lunch with two kids under 5, and I was very impressed. Just walking into the restaurant you get a tour through the brewery, a great view of the bay, and the food was terrific. My husband and I don't drink beer, but that didn't matter. I would definitely... More

That is about it. They did not spend much on the restaurant or any thing else for that matter. Sad to see as I was a friend of the founder.

The restaurant is the upper floor of the brewery, and has a great view of the bay and bridge. Usual brewpub food, served up fast. Be prepared to wait during peak times, if you have no minors, you may be seated a little faster in the bar area. Ate here twice over four day trip, our group liked it that... More

Like another reviewer said, when we arrived there was an open table beside the windows - with a great view of the harbor. BUT I was told we couldn't sit there (putting 2 tables together for 6 of us) because of the fire code! They could have seated us in the middle row, but instead put us at the farthest... More

Strange. Place was empty. I mean empty at 6pm. You really wouldn't know the restaurant is there. It is like an afterthought of the brewery. The food was decent. I got the clam chowder and a salmon Caesar salad. It was ok. Price seemed reasonable. The beers are plentiful. I got the chipotle ale. So-so. I won't go back. Seems... More

This place is literally in the same building as the brewery, so the smell of fermentation is a bit overbearing. The location is great, and the view is great too, but the smell was hard for the entire party to get over. There was obviously no rhyme or reason to who got to serve which table, there was even a... Our annual pilgrimage to newport has always included a trip to the restaurant on the bay. In fact we started coming here when there was only a pub and no restaurant. So on our trip last weekend were very excited to visit rogue and have our annual dinner. Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by a person downstairs. He... More
