Stopped in with friends for a late breakfast. Small space and a little crowded. Obviously popular, as the line was out the door when we left. Woman playing guitar at the entrance greeted us. Music was nice in the background but words were drowned out by crowd noise. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I had crab Benedict. It was... More

We travel to Newport many times per year and have eaten in lots of spots, but this was a find! One block off Hwy 101 and 4 blocks from 20 to head back inland. Really wanted breakfast and they advertise 'brunch' but we arrived at noon. The breakfast menu was not offered. Not to worry the lunch menu looked awesome.... More

We had about a 15 minute wait to get seated in the restaurant, and it was well worth it! We had a buttery, flaky almond pastry with coffee while we waited and the pastry was the best of any we've eaten. I had a traditional Benedict and my husband had the Sardu. The muffins that were the base of both... More

We've rediscovered La Maison lately and have been 3 times this past month, so this review is current. After changes in ownership, the place has settled down and is back to amazing, rich French-inspired foods. One note: call ahead: at our table two people reported that the restaurant was not open even during their posted open hours, which can be... More

This is a very cute restaurant and the food is good. The problem here is that they do not have enough staff during peak times. It took 10 minutes to be seated because the lone waiter had to clean off empty tables. 10-12 minutes later we ordered because the lone waiter had to ring up two to go orders, answer... More

My first time having Eggs Benedict was at La Maison about 3 years ago. We were on vacation and stopped in because it was highly recommended. We weren't disappointed! At the time, they served it over croissant instead of English muffin. Eggcellant! Hollandaise sauce was to die for! I wanted a straw to get every last drop! The chef was... More

Awesome atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! The eggs had that bright orange color to them that made us realize they were farm eggs.. Yum! Our server Austin was so nice and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

My husband found this place for breakfast while I was running the marathon. He said we needed to go back so I can try the best french toast ever. I couldn't believe the price but once I tried it, I forgot how much it cost. It's topped with a bananas foster topping. It also comes with a side of bananas... More

Went to this little cafe in a house-restaurant for Mothers Day. We arrived when it opened, so third in line to get seated; they have an efficient way of handling a crowd. The menu choices are fewer than many places, but both of our breakfast selections were GREAT: I had the Paris omelet (Brie, prosciutto, chives), and my husband tried... More
