On our last day in Newport my husband and I decided to have breakfast at La Maison. I'm so glad that we did. La Maison is located in a small, quaint house off the beaten path. Make sure to get there early on the weekends as the restaurant fills up fast and there aren't a lot of tables. We started... More

Words cannot describe the amazing food at this restaurant. Eggs benedict were absolutely fabulous. Friends at my table enjoyed bacon breakfast sandwich made on home made english muffin. Amazing looking crepes. Tons of home made pastries in the case. I would live here if possible.

We spent my birthday in Newport, and had heard about this quaint little farmhouse type place. Once you walk into this restaurant the smells fill your mind with goodness. After being greeted and getting to talk to the women who obviously run this little place. My husband and I had the eggs benidict. . One with salmon., and the other... More

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it fit our cravings for that morning perfectly. Some Eggs Benedict and maybe some fresh made pastries sounded great. We arrived in a pouring rainstorm and were greeted with smiles and a friendly welcome as we came in the door a shook off the rain. We ordered an eggs sardou (benedict)and a Swedish... More

La Maison has wonderful breads and pasteries. And they have incredible breakfast and lunch choices. Closed Mondays. Open for breakfast - Tue-Fri 9-11 and Sat-Sun 9-12. Open for lunch - Tue-Fri 11-3 and Sat-Sun 12-3. Lovely place with incredible smells of their bakery.

We had read in advance that this very small and out-of-the way location had great food and was worth planning ahead. We made reservations for the first seating (9am) and arrived just prior to opening. About 6 tables of guests were seated about the same time, and ordered about the same time. We were a party of 2. Almost every... More

This was my first visit. I had the salmon eggs benedict and it was the best I'd ever had. The eggs were perfectly prepared. Sure, eggs are the cheap part, but it's all in how you make them! Just like rice makes the sushi, eggs make the eggs benedict (or so I would like to think this is the case... More

We visited this restaurant for a 2nd time recently and was pleased. The portions are a bit small but the fare is tasty. You won't leave here stuffed or even really full but it was good food prepared well. Good desserts as well.

Wonderful breakfasts. Take out or eat in. We mostly do take out and make a picnic in one of the local parks. Always different backed goods that I choose something different every time. I always take visitors here.
