I'm a little disappointed in the quality and service the past few months. I had ordered a burrito to go after eating there. They were pretty busy but usually takes 5-10 minutes even when they are busy. A group of kids went in and ordered things and after waiting 25 minutes and realizing that the kids who ordered were getting... More

My favorite mexican resturaunts are like a loosely knit chain. They evidently are not under the same ownership nor anything else. But their menus are about all the same. In Oregon they are ReAlberto's or Rigoberto's or Muchias Gracious. Normally. In Saint George, Utah there was a Rigoberto's and a Berto's. There is a good one on Apache in Mesa,... More

My boyfriend is from San Diego, CA and he misses the mexican food from there. When we visited Newport we decided to stop into Oscars, and he says it tastes exactly the same as Southern California mexican food places! Large portions and menu choices

Looking for Mexican food on the Oregon coast we stopped in at Oscar's. Menu is large as are the portions. Prices are not high and seniors get a free 12 oz soda. My hubby liked his chili releno he gave it a 3+ I had fish tacos, the breading was thick the fish almost absent fresh pico added flavor-it was... More

When we first started going to Oscar's the food was very good, large portions, reasonable price and very clean. As they have changed hands the last five years the quality and portions has gone down and the place is very dirty. We were there Tuesday Oct 1 and the booths were very dirty and the tables looked like they never... More

We saw this restaurant in the Guest Book in our Comfort Inn; it stated they were open 24 hours, but I sure don't see the need for that many hours in Newport! Oh well. We stopped in around 8pm on Sept. 10, 2013. I had the quesadilla supreme for $4.95 and a FREE small soda since I am over 62!... More

Wow, it's been nearly three years since my last review! We're locals and stop by here fairly often for lunch or a quick, inexpensive dinner. We've been coming here since they opened about 2009. If you want to eat where the "locals" eat, this is one of the places! It's not fancy, but we like it. They have done a... More

I'm a local and visited this restaurant by drive-thru. I ordered a burrito and the woman in the window made an error in my total by a few cents and swiped my card twice. She should have at least asked if it was alright to swipe my card a second time as I would have preferred to pay cash at... More
