Great food for a very reasonable price

Considering what this is, a drive-through Mexican restaurant, it's a solid bet for good affordable food. While the service isn't much, you have to realize it's a Mexican restaurant staffed by most Spanish speakers, so a little bit of a language barrier will always exist. That being said, I've... read more

We'd had a long day of driving on the Oregon Coast. Our hotel lost our reservation and we had to drive two cities to the north to find a room at a dumpy motel. We were just glad to have a place to stay and decided to order pick up from Oscar's, who advertised their menu in the motel guide... More

I live in Newport so my options are limited so I decided to go to Oscars. As usual the staff is very short spoken and come off as quite rude. I made to orders for my wife and I and when I got home to my surprise they were both wrong. This was without a doubt because the lady taking... More

America is addicted to their "crack-phones". I just left a local restaurant here for lunch. The counter-person never ever acknowledge me or asked if she could take my order. She just grunted..seriously? She was busy tweeting or texting or??? to even look up. When she handed me my order, she still had the phone in her hand and again, no... More

I was so disappointed in this place. While staying in Newport we thought let's have Mexican for dinner. We decided to walk from our hotel, arriving after a 10 or so minute walk to find that this was fast food and not traditional Mexican we decided to give it a try because we love taco trucks. The food was so... More

I've been going to this place for years and sadly I feel like it's going downhill. I've stopped going as often because, well the food isn't quite what it was, the prices have gone up, and the folks working here don't seem so engaged. I visited earlier today and it wasn't very clean and the counter folks seemed in their... More

We have eaten there many times, and over the last year the quality has gone down hill fast. Tonight we were the only patrons in the building, but every table and seat was filthy. When we got our food (there were two of us with meals) we were provided with two napkins, one fork, and one knife. When asked for... More

Two locations, one in Newport, one in Lincoln City. Order at the counter, and wait for your meal to get called and pick up at the counter. I love the Combo #1: two chicken tacos: the shells are thin and very crisp, stuffed full of fresh chunks of chicken, topped with fresh/crisp lettuce and shredded cheese. Comes with a side... More

While traveling my husband and I stayed in Newport, OR. Since we were not familiar with the area we chose this restaurant as it was not out of the way and it was getting late. To me it was a mistake but here goes on the review. You ordered and picked up at the counter which was fine. While we... More
