Don't be put off by the exterior—this place is fantastic if you're in the mood for Asian flavors.

Noodle Cafe may look humble on the outside, but the food is full of outsized flavors and their dining room faces right out onto the harbor. Their tempura oysters were delicious, with not even a hint of fishy-ness. My wife and I both had noodle soups--the jung bong for me and the ramen with tofu... read more

There is a reason this restaurant is so popular. They provide honest, genuine dishes that are wonderful. I ate here twice during my two day stay in Newport. It is that good! Small (quite small with a very small kitchen!) family run dining at it's best.

I am really picky about my pho. Often it has too much five star spice and it can be overwhelming. I thought the chicken pho at the Noodle Cafe was excellent and balanced. The service was great, the place was clean and the view was beautiful. Thank you!

Food and service were just average. I ordered a beer and water but all I got was the water. Had to ask for the beer again. I asked what they recommended and was told the fried oysters. They were just OK. Not much of a view or anything so all in all I was underwhelmed

We got in late to Newport and just wanted some good, warm food. We saw this place was open and had good reviews so we walked from our hotel to downtown Newport (which was a really pleasant walk and we saw a bald eagle along the way!). It's a small place right on the water and we ordered two different... More

We chose to dine at Noodles based on all the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. We were disappointed when we were greeted with a lukewarm reception, at best, and then an interminably long wait to place an order followed by an equally long wait to receive our two basic fried eggrolls. The woman/waitress (who I assumed to be the owner) was... More

The Noodle Cafe lived up to the reviews we had read and could not ask for a better experience. We planned a long leisurely lunch, hopefully with a harbor view. We were not disappointed. We started with fried crab and cheese wontons and shrimp basil rolls for appetizers. You could tell that both appetizers were freshly prepared to order. The... More

Found this restaurant on a recent trip. If social media didn't give me the scoop would never had tried it. As other reviewers have stated, don't be turned off by the store front. Inside was clean and the owners worked really hard on a busy day to get the food out as quickly as possible. Depending on when you arrive,... More

We ate dinner here one night and enjoyed a seat near the window with a lovely view. I had the jung bong fish stew with ramen noodles. Delicious! The seafood was very fresh and tender. My companions has the Pho with beef and the miso with udon. We were all VERY happy with our meals. All were delicious and fresh.... More

We came her twice on our trip to the Oregon Coast. The owner, Lisa and her family were friendly, accommodating and the service was fast. The noodle bowls and seafood items were awesome. Even our picky kids loved the Spring rolls, miso soup and noodle bread. This restaurant will be on the must visit list next time we are in... More
