Location in Nye Beach is perfect. The pizza was very tasty and the size of the medium was huge. I'm curios to see how big a large pizza is. The prices are very reasonable. Only complaint is that the staff is very inexperienced but that is an easy fix with some more training. We would definitely go back for more... More

My wife and I had our own personal sized pizzas. Mine was ok but my wife had the gluten free crust and could eat only the toppings because the crust was so soggy. The chicken that was on top was very dry and tasteless. The place was full so it must have a following with some of the locals. Probably... More

With all the great beer and wine Oregon has to offer I was surprised this restaurant has gone with a totally Hawaiian theme - only island beer available. Not bad but hardly close to local craft ales. The pizza was excellent and massively big for personal size. A decent place but not worth the rave reviews that lead us there,... More

I'll start with the good: The waitress was friendly and service was good. My fish tasted fresh and was cooked properly. The bad: Everything was bland. My fish tacos, the rice and beans, none of it had any flavor. I mean no flavor at all. No salt, no spice, no acid, nothing. Kid's mac and cheese was bland (which was... More

We always enjoy eating at Savory, Mike ( the owner) goes out of his way to please his costumers. He has done special order for us in the past, considers it "no problem" My wife is a vegan as well , and they are always willing to modify her meal to Vegan when ever possible. When our family is in... More

Wow. Its not everyday you can get the best pizza and the best mango margarita ever. That happened to me at the Savory Cafe in Newport. Cool decor, awesome service, and the best pizza for miles. Check them out when in Newport.

The spicy sausage pizza w/ jalapenos is delicious. Homemade pizza dough is great. We really really like their pizza. The clam chowder is a nice alternative to traditional, made with coconut milk and sweet potatoes. Staff has always been great too. We love this place.

Savory Cafe has a varied menu so all even the pickiest eater will find something. I tasted some of my friends' entrees and they were pretty good. Everyone loved their margaritas and daiquiris which were all very potent. Those of us who had fish entrees were a bit underwhelmed. The fish was fresh and tasted good but lacked seasoning. I... More
