Good

Very good place at Newport Oregon. Waitress was cool, the atmosphere was good and the food too. A little long if you take the Irish specialties but it worth the wait. Good day for a Guinness

I love Irish pubs! This one is decent. Of course the "on-tap" beer was excellent, yet they don't know to let the Guinness bubbles float to the foamy top before serving the "perfect pint." The food was mediocre. The fried oysters were over breaded and over cooked. The chocolate bread pudding was over rated. The service was very good. The... More

Irish pub with authentic food & drinks. The food is delicious, best bangers & mashed. Wash it down with a black & tan or a harps or a good Irish whiskey. Charming outside dining for those sunny days at the beach.

This place was like stepping into a pub in Ireland. They had a well stocked bar and a great selection of traditional Irish fare. The service was good although a bit slow but they were quite busy. There is outdoor seating if you happen to go when the weather is nice. Cute place.

The description of the appetizers sounded great but that is where it stopped. Oysters were HEAVILY breaded (probably out of a box) and the Brie was supposed to be in a puffed pastry but it was a heavy flour mess! Don't know about the other items but these two were terrible!!! Did I say they were terrible? Good.

We stopped in for lunch on a whim and were delighted by this charming little pub. Service is friendly and spirited. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich that was one of the best meals I had eaten along the Oregon coast. Had we more time in the area, I would have stopped in again for dinner.

Having just been to Ireland we were ready to compare! The service was friendly and attentive and right on par. The food was better! We had Nana's meatloaf and enjoyed the unexpected flavors such as sage in the gravy. It was very good. The fish and chips crispy and moist. We will happily return to try more at Nana's!

Nana's in down in the Nye Beach district of Newport. This is an Irish restaurant that feels authentic and not trying too hard. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I had the steak and Guinness pie. It came out piping hot and the seasoning was perfect. My husband had the Shepards Pie and it was just as good. We... More

At the baseball tournament our friends suggested that we try Nana's Irish Pub. In all the years we have travelled to Newport we had never seen this Pub so we decided to give it a try. It was a Tuesday night and Tuesday night is Corned Beef and Cabbage night. What a meal! It was, by our standards, a lot... More

Came here as a recommendation from my soon to be in laws. Nice outdoor seating that was packed. We sat inside and it was lovely. Not too busy and not noisy on a Sunday afternoon. Tried the scotch eggs. Very interesting and yummy if you are a fan of hard boiled eggs. Shepard pie was great. I'm not a huge... More
