We had a great lunch here, and they are dog friendly (which was a relief on a hot day)! We didn't know what to do with our dog while we had lunch as we couldn't leave him in our car. It was great to see patios that allowed dogs. Thanks for a nice meal!

Visited a couple if times during a recent road trip. We are from the UK and found the service very good as expected throughout the USA. It wasn't a typical Irish menu with many casserole and stew type dishes but more of an Americanised Irish mix of dishes. A bizzare mixture of American and random UK dishes including Scotch Eggs?... My wife and I went to Newport for our honeymoon. We found nana's the day after we got there. Absolutely loved it, the scotch eggs were great, burger was good, we also ordered the ruben, we loved it so much we went back 2 days later got more scotch eggs, a cheese steak and another burger. We also bought a... More

This is a great little restaurant with outdoor seating. We were allowed to bring our dog with us on the patio. The service was terrific and the food was outstanding! I had the fish and chips and the fish was very fresh, tasted amazing. My husband is still talking about his Reuben sandwich -best he's ever had! Definitely recommend this... More

The day was lovely, the pub was quaint and clean, with outside seating. the service was spot on; the server was always available, but never hovering or overbearing. We ordered the Scotch Eggs as we had never had them before, and they were delicious, however, I would have liked the yolks softer. More like a soft boiled egg. Otherwise, taste... More

If there is an Irish pub within 50 miles, I will find it... and I'm glad I found this one! Great atmosphere and I liked the outdoor seating. Great food and spirits! I will eat here again on my next trip to Newport!

I went to Nana's just to get something besides seafood, as I was getting a little burned out. The server that I had was very friendly and funny. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the sun and the passersby. I had the bleu cheese salad for an appetizer and I really wished I could have licked the plate... More

Read reviews online about how good everything is. Was looking forward (for 3 days) to having corned beef and cabbage. First thing the waitress said is we're out of corned beef and cabbage. It's an Irish pub it was only 7pm how can they be out of a signature dish? There was not one person eating it. The waitress offered... More
