Corned Beef and Cabbage!

At the baseball tournament our friends suggested that we try Nana's Irish Pub. In all the years we have travelled to Newport we had never seen this Pub so we decided to give it a try. It was a Tuesday night and Tuesday night is Corned Beef and Cabbage night. What a meal! It was, by our... read more

Came here as a recommendation from my soon to be in laws. Nice outdoor seating that was packed. We sat inside and it was lovely. Not too busy and not noisy on a Sunday afternoon. Tried the scotch eggs. Very interesting and yummy if you are a fan of hard boiled eggs. Shepard pie was great. I'm not a huge... More

After reading the reviews I was really excited about coming here for dinner after a long day at the beach. Maybe Nanas was having a bad day when we were there. The service was not great, but I can live with that. We had the fish and chips and a Rueben, pretty straight forward stuff. The Rueben was fair but... More

A mixed review on Nana's Irish Pub. My son enjoyed their bangers and mash and I had a tuna melt and both were excellent at lunch. However, when I returned later for bread pudding takeout, we paid $6 for what turned out to be a muffin-sized dessert that was burnt on one side and was nothing like any bread pudding... More

My husband, my brother in law, nephew in law was there for St. Patrick's Day. we sat outside, and had a small dinner there. The workers are really friendly, and they have good food. I had the spicy chicken tenders, it was really good. St. Patrick's Day was a lot of fun.

We have eaten here twice and have loved the food every time. Very good Irish type food but also other types if you don't care for the Irish flair. My husband always enjoys the beer.

I was hesitant about "pub" as I am not a drinker. The atmosphere is pleasant, and while small it did not feel crowded or noisy. Lots of good choices on the menu. I had the Traditional Irish Breakfast which was tasty, more than enough food, for only $11. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was fairly full as early... More

My wife and I went to Newport this past weekend. I like to research good and new places to eat. Then, I came across an Irish Pub, with excellent reviews!!! Are you kidding??? Pub grub is one of my favs! And now, this is probably my favorite pub! Wanted a Guiness, but wasn't in the mood for heavy. My waitress... More

i would not have expected to eat irish food in Newport Oregon. I had the sausage in puff pastry accompanied by mashed potato and gravy with shelled peas .just what I was looking for after many meals at local ocean. real beers on tap, looks like it could be a night time hang out in the bargain. fast service.

My wife and I visited our daughter and son-in-law in Portland, OR in late October and had an overnight stay in Newport. We were looking for a place for dinner that night- October 25- and were able to get in a Nana’s Irish Pub. [Forgive my late review but I still have a couple of pictures and the receipt!] While...
