we have had wonderful pub experiences inside during the winter and the rain. In the nice weather we sit outside on the sunny terrace for the sea breeze and the people watching. good selections of beers. Terrific menu - a selection of favorites (Shepard's pie) and rare items like Scotch Eggs (YUM!)

Black & Tan takes on a meaning beyond that of a mixed beer beverage when you dine on the doggy friendly patio. Most of the hounds are well behaved – sometimes one is not, rather spoiling the atmosphere. Regardless, try the Scotch Eggs for something different along with an Irish Black & Tan. Service was a tad slow but the... More

We went here on my son's recommendation. We were taking out of town guests and hoping to impress. The kid knows what he's talking about. Everything about this restaurant was really cool.. the decor, the Irish music playing, and especially the food. The staff were especially nice. Indoor and outdoor dining options. Two thumbs up for Nana's.

We went here with a large group on a family vacation (8 adults and 4 kids). They got us seated quickly and were very nice and welcoming. Our order was taken quickly and the drinks were good. Not a "traditional pour" on the Guinness, but I have yet to really find a place in the states (on my travels) that... More

Nana's has great drinks and food! We loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. The service was very good, it reminded us of being in Ireland. If you get a chance go.

Nana's has great comfort food and the best Bloody Marys in the area. The outdoor patio is wonderful on a sunny day and you can sit outside with your dog.

Ate here twice during our recent summer trip to Newport. Loved sitting out on the dog-friendly patio. We are in Newport quite a bit, we have never stopped in and now this will be one of our go-to places. The service was wonderful, beer cold, and food fantastic as well. Everyone in our family (two adults and three teens) loved... More

always a great place, usually crowded for a good reason. I had the best corned beef and cabbage I have ever had, the chicken pot pie was a little dry, but it was good, the smoked salmon spread for an appetizer was excellent, and desert was great. My only complaint was the waitress kept trying to give us our bill... More

Been to Nano's many times and have enjoyed the food, atmosphere not to ignore the drinks.......fantastic Irish Coffees. As authentic if not more so then the ones I have had in Ireland!!! One recommendation to their fantastic "Ruben Sandwich" is to increase the corn beef portions. The portions seemed to have diminished over the years. Great hand cut beef, fantastic... More

Upon arriving in Newport, we drove to the Nye Beach area looking for a good lunch spot. First one we spotted was, luckily, Nana's! Two of us had hamburgers, one a chicken sandwich, and I had the rueben. I must say, it was my first rueben, and it was delicious! I also substituted chowder for the salad and it also... More
