Used trip advisor to find a place to stop for lunch on the way back from the Oregon coast. This place was excellent. Had the tacos made with marinated BBQ pork...very yummy. There are also Mexican baked goods there for sale that looked great.

Was in town for a few days and brought here by friends. Great! I had a vegetable burrito. I was very happy that when I asked if the refried beans contained lard, everyone knew what I was asking, and the beans were vegetarian and delicious! Would love to go back.

Ha...can you tell I don't speak Spanish? I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE their hard tacos, carne asada, of course! The beans are delicious as well. A lot of people come here just for the yummy looking breads and pastries in their bakery display! They do not have fountain drinks...some kind of weird Mexican koolaid stuff, but they do offer bottles... More

I was thrilled to find this authentic Mexican bakery and restaurant in Newberg, Oregon while on a wine tasting vacation! I've traveled extensively in Mexico, and even lived and taught at a university there for a semester (Pachuca, Hidalgo). This restaurant is the real deal! I had the BEST homemade menudo and flour tortillas, accompanied by fabulous chips and salsa... More

I almost didn't come in, I've been disappointed so many times in US fake Mexican food....I am so glad I took the chance. Spotlessly clean, nice music playing (but not blasting) and thank goodness no TV. BEST posole ever, super-fresh corn tortillas. And delicious bakery treats, I filled a bag for home after tasting one.

Have only eaten pastries here - nice, authentic Mexican pastries. Recommend. Hope to get back and try out the meals soon.

We had a combo, beef tostadas, pork taco, it comes with beans and rice. The meat in the pork taco was like jerky and no taste at all. The beef in the tostadas was chewy not jerky yet. I have to say the beans and rice was good. Also had a cheese quesadillas, the cheese was not melted all the way,... More

Nice breakfast menu of 10 items. Huevos a la Mexicana was simple and good... but eggs tasted like whatever was cooked on the grill before them. Really friendly and helpful counter service. Good selection of Mexican pastries. Open Mon - Sun 9:00 am - 8:00 pm so don't come too early for breakfast.

We we on our way back from the coast, and stopped in on this restaurant. It is a genuine , family-run Mexican resturant and bakery, with no frills. Order food at the counter, and it is delivered to your table. Unfortunately no hard liquor is served, but they do have beer and wine.

Though I can't pronounce the name, I love to get a half dozen tamales here on a regular basis. It is hard to pass up the sweets in the bakery on the way to the counter, so I normally pick up breakfast for the next day, too. My husband loves their burritos.
