Our meal here was phenomenal. The service and food were exceptional, and I'd highly recommend the Painted Lady.

Located in Oregon wine country in Newburyg., once inside the nondescript house, you return to the rare experience of very fine dining. Lovely dining rooms, professional suit attired service, 8 course fix price menus or chef tasting menu; elegantly produced gourmet courses. No place is perfect, but this one gets much closer than most. Will definitely return.

On a recent visit to the Williamette Valley we enjoyed dinner at Painted Lady one evening. This was a very special evening. We enjoyed the seven course tasting menu. The staff was impeccable the food was served enthusiastically and deservedly so. If you're visiting this area this restaurant is one you do not want to miss. 5 stars!!

A nice setting, excellent service, great concept and perfect execution are a powerful and rare combination. i have had food this good in NYC but the never with knowledgable, professional service with no hint of haughtiness. I have had overall dining experiences that were similar in small Italian towns but never in the United States. The prix fixe menu had... More

We were very excited about our reservation! The service was excellent, waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the wine list and the atmosphere was fine. The food presentation was lovely and very unusual...but the taste of most of the dishes was very average and therefore disappointing.

We had a great dining experience. The menu was a 7 course meal. Yes, a bit pricey but well worth it. The restaurant is in an older house and was very intimate. The ambiance was great, the food was beyond excellent, and the service was impeccable. They called us ahead of time and explained the 7 course meal and asked... More

We were on a three week vacation to Oregon and California and this was our best meal of the entire trip. The service was top notch - attentive but not intrusive. The food was outstanding. The attention to detail was amazing, even the palate cleanser was unique, delicious, and artfully presented. A great find in the Williamette Valley

Painted Lady is a gastronomic experience in a restored home built in 1896. You can order a la cart, but the way to go is the tasting menus offered by the chef. The menu varies based on the chef's inspiration each day. Painted Lady has 2 sommeliers and offers a full bar along with wine pairings for the tasting menus.... More

Restaurant got rave reviews, so we decided to go after our son's college graduation. The old "painted" house was pretty small, and not many people can dine at once. It was our first 8-10 course meal, and everything was very good, but it took a long time and was very expensive. I asked our son what he thought, and he... More
