The Painted Lady Restaurant is the best of the best. Easily the finest dining experience in Oregon, possible the entire Pacific Northwest. Be sure to get reservations in advance - most nights are sold out during the busy season. This is a meal you will remember forever!

We wer etold it would be a leisurely meal.We were served many courses and all were excellent. We could choose 2 entrees but no other choices. The food was great and each course was explained as we ate.For a cheeseburger guy it was a new adventure.

Great service, great food, great wine advice. Tables are well placed for a romantic, private dinner despite the small floor space. How do they prepare a seven course meal in a old house kitchen? If you like to be loud at dinner, please stay away. This place is a gem.

Absolutely wonderful, price fix dinner. Defiantly not cheap but some of the best food and wine pairing I have had, anywhere in the world.

We read the reviews and the endorsements by respected publications and so our group decided to splurge. The Painted Lady was as expected. Each course is a wonderful surprise: thoughtful, flavorful, (can I say pretty?). Here's a pix of the course after the amuse bouche: Miso Custard, Dungeness Crab, Enoki Mushrooms, Nori, Edamame and Dashi. We really enjoyed Drew as... More

Awesome taste sensations. You won't go wrong with the food and the wine pairings. My wife and I enjoyed it all. We ate inside and the atmosphere is a little quiet but that was fine. Servers were Great and very friendly toward us. Priced a little on the high side but it was a great experience at the price we... More

I celebrated my birthday dinner recently and it was hands down one of the best meals I've had. We had a table outside, which was very romantic. The 7 course meal was artistically displayed and each course was truly amazing. While we didn't do the six wine pairings, we did have a mixed drink from their bar menu which was... More

This dining experience will go down as the 2nd best I have ever had; the first being in Florence Italy. We enjoyed a 7 course meal with six wine pairings. The flavors of each course were complex and ingredients were perfectly complimented. Service was impeccable and the staff were professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our 3 1/2 hour dining experience included:... More

Classy, upscale, delicious food and service. Five (or six?) course tasting menu that changes periodically. You select from a couple of options for each course. Doesn't really matter what you get - it will be great.

After an afternoon of visiting a few wineries and touring small towns in the area, we were happy to have made early dinner reservations before heading back to Portland. Our meal was nothing short of delicious with excellent service and a fine wine selection. Only a tasting menu is available but there are ample vegetarian options in each of the... More
