We meet Kids and Grandkids there for Breakfast. The servers are very patient with small children. Children's menu and coloring. Lids on children's cups. The atmosphere is older but clean. The food is good, well portioned, and arrived in a reasonable time, considering there were 12 of us. What was the biggest upside, is they DON'T add a automatic 15-20%... More

My family used to go here every weekend when I grew up for their breakfast and dinners, it was great. Went there on the weekend for their special of chicken and dumplings and it was the most gross thing I ever ate. How can your special be cold, it was like they took it out of the fridge and put... They seem to specialize in dishes with lots of potatoes. I had the breakfast skillet. It had scrambled eggs in there somewhere, but the biscuits and the potatoes dominated the dish. The eggs Benedict Portland tasted like the butter in the sauce had been burned slightly. Service was very good and staff is very friendly.

Used to go there alot. Unfortunately the food and drinks as well have gone downhill to the point that it is inedible. Had to send my plate back and wouldn;t pay for it. Eggs were a thin sheet of rubber, baby reds didn't have green pepper and onion and were cold, toast was soggy bacon was burnt and hard. Bloody... More

My wife and I have been coming here for over a year and the service is always fantastic, the food is killer (especially the clam chowder) and the atmosphere is light. The gravy is to die for, being scratch made just like their bread. If you haven't been there yet, go!

We were unable to stay at a B&B in the Newberg / Dundee area and we wanted a full breakfast before wine tasting in Willamette Valley. So we went to J’s… not once, but three times. Over the three visits, we had huge breakfast meals; the food barely fit on the plate… pancakes, bacon, French toast, hash browns, eggs… heaven.... More

Very good beef n Friday nights. We eat in the bar which can be a little loud but we so love the bartender/waiter Guy that we want to be there anyhow. Go early as they do run out its that popular.

This was handy to our motel. Food was average to poor. One of our members had a refund on his food. The rest of us ate it but didn't really enjoy it - we should have gone a bit further afield

We went here looking for a diner style breakfast. The hashbrowns and coffee were good, but the rest of breakfast was subpar. The service was very good however. Bottom line, look somewhere else for breakfast.
