Good hardy Italian pasta dishes and pizza. Mom-and-pop family restaurant. Not fancy like some of these new places, but you leave full, satisfied, and without a major wallet drain. We usually get the spaghetti with mushroom sauce. There's so much we only eat half and take the other half for another meal at home! Good garlic bread (they bake the... More

We are local and have eaten here a few times but this past Friday was the first time in three or four years. We wanted to compare it to another Italian place in the next town over. We arrived shorty before 8pm and there were four other occupied tables. Very quickly it was just us and another table. Service was... More

We were driving through to the coast and decided to try this place. It was getting towards closing time and they graciously stayed open to serve us. I really enjoyed the wine vinegar salad dressing, as it tasted like it came straight from a winery. We shared the sampler platter with fettucini noodles, ravioli and tortilini covered with alfredo sauce.... More

The ambience is not great but the food and service makes up for it. It is friendly and a great place for large groups to dine together. It has a varied menu with just about anything Italian. The pizzas are great and the egg parmesan is a personal family favorite.

I just finished 1/3 of a huge order of spaghetti with garlic, cheese and olive oil. The spaghetti was not overcooked, and the hand chopped garlic was slightly cooked and fierce. The same as it was 25 years ago. As excellent as it always was, and enough for a couple of lunches as leftovers. It saddens me to see poor... More

We tried this restaurant while visiting wine country. The wait staff is nice but that's the really only positive. They brought out a plate with a few old cold carrots, really low end salami and a few peppers as a complimentary appetizer. Not good. The salad was your cheap ice burg lettuce. This is supposed to be Italian. Where's the... More

Went with my husband and daughter. I ordered a glass of the house chianti first and it tasted like it was from a box. That surprised me, but I overlooked it and went ahead and ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was sitting in a puddle of liquid(. Sauce very thin). Told waitress who took it back and it came... More

I love their thick crust pizza. If you get a large pizza delivered you also get 2 liters of soda...unfortunately it is Pepsi products which don't go over well in a Coca-Cola household. However, their thick crust is great, thin crust is average. I would go to Abbey's down the street for thin crust. Staff are friendly and attentive. We... More

Pasquale's is not upscale or chichi, just typical old school west coast Italian food. Places like Pastime in Walla Walla are long gone, replaced by wine bars and bistros. I hope it never happens in Newberg....the rose bushes outside the windows, the old pictures and maps on the wall, employees peeling garlic at the tables....and the big slabs of garlicked... More

How can you mess up a meatball if you are an Italian restaurant? I walked in and immediately was sorry but I was hungry and drove around in circles trying to find the place. Everything looked old, plastic, colorless. Like some old and tired dinette from the 60's. The little plate of antipasta contained a couple is slices of salami... More
