We went for an early dinner and it was just outstanding. Fresh and delicious food and outstanding service from the young girls who go to a local college. No pretense only good food prepared perfectly. We ate outside but the majority of the tables are inside in 2-3 small rooms.

Do not go here. The service was not to my standards. For the price I paid for my meal, you would except great service. My waitress was making me feel rushed. Therefore I could not enjoy my dinner. Wine, OVER PRICED.

If you are traveling in the upper Willamette wine country you should do yourself a favor and book a reservation at Recipe. We had heard about it from friends and were delighted to find out that all they had to say was spot on. I had duck breast that was truly the best i have ever tasted- cooked rare and... More

Twelve of us camped and biked at Champoeg State Park (what a find that is!!!) and wanted to eat out one night. From the first inquiry call, to out actual meal, and finally to a goodnight to Chef Paul and Co-Owner Jason, we were most pleased with the service and seamless operation. One of our group was celebrating a 48th... More

We chose this restaurant based on TA reviews and our desire for a more casual dinner after two nights at fine dining places. We were looking forward to fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere. This was the first time in a long time that nothing on a bistro menu looked particularly appealing. Our waiter was friendly enough but not didn't... More

The food here didn't betray Recipe's reputation for farm-to-fork dining. They do a great job of weaving old world & new American influences, all on a platform of local, organic, etc. when possible. Food ingredients, expert kitchen execution, and delightful service (Jaye I think was here name) made for a dinner our group of 6 will not forget. We'll definitely... More

My boyfriend and I recently took a trip to Oregon. On our first day, we found ourselves in Newberg and came across Recipe through a review on Yelp. It was highly rated, so we thought we would check it out. Well it was awesome! Great atmosphere, wonderful food, just an all around great time. And our server (didn't catch her... More

Went to this place a while back, and had a very pleasant evening, The service was very good, the menu choices were interesting and diverse, and the vibe very pleasant. It is a great choice if one is in the Oregon wine country.

The quaintest, most charming gourmet yet down to earth eating experience. And just tell them to bring you a red or white... they will pick the most amazing glass. Try the soup and the almond cake... really outstanding.

A unique restaurant in an old home with wooden floors and some very tasty food. Great steak tartare and wonderful rice pudding. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Had a very pleasant waiter and nice service.
