My wife, daughter & I visited Taste upon the recommendation of a wine-maker friend. We visited on 11/27/15 after a day of wine tasting. Situated in a house in Newberg, the setting is very quaint and provides for a fine dining experience. We started with the Chicory salad paired with a Brick House chardonnay. My wife & daughter tried the... More

What a nice little place, great food and wine selections along with a smaller beer selection on draft. I had the oyster stew with a Pilsner from Montana. Very nice! Prices were good and service was great. The restaurant is in an older craftsman-like house. The service is great as is the food and wine. They even have a full... More

Interesting place that borders on funky and quaint. That is about as good as it gets. The food was either basically tasteless or overly accented. We each had a sandwich and thought they didn't have any taste at all. The accompanying salads had too much dressing on them, and the accompanying pickled veggies were WAY too pickled. We also tried... More

Old house, on a corner location in Newberg; doesn't look like much, but stop and get a table. Last time, we sat outside under the shade trees - wonderful (summer). Inside is cozy, and would be great in winter. We have tried quite a few items in several visits, and just go with what appeals to you. Much locally sourced;... More

I had brought some business associates here for lunch a couple summers ago and was disappointed in both the food and service, so when it was suggested as our dinner destination last weekend, I had my doubts. We were seated quickly (we had reservations) and began our meal with a sampling of the starters, along with a lovely Pinot noir... More

My wife and I had lunch here during our visit to wine country. The menu was fun, interesting, and lots of local fresh items. The servers were all knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and quite engaging. I had the smoked trout salad which was really delicious, and the menu was a great treatise of farm to table items. The wine list was quite... More

We stopped here due to recommendations from several people we asked in the Willamette Valley area. GREAT PLACE! GREAT FOOD!! My friend and I had the pork and duck, drinks, salad....it was all fantastic. The Best Bourbon Old Fashion I have ever had...and I'm from Bourbon Country!

Very attentive and interact staff. Food very good and a few dishes outstanding. Onion tart and sauce on pasta. We were a party of six, and after a few bottles of wine and after dinner drinks my husband forgot to look to see if tip/gratuity was included. Now we feel awkward.
