On the way back from the coast, stopped here do to the good reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The service friendly, nice little patio, fresh excellent food and extensive wine list. Not cheap but good fresh food that is worth it. It is obvious they take pride in their restaurant. Staff well dressed, attentive. I had the... More

We had lunch here at it was wonderful. I had the turkey and bacon "club". The turkey was not your typical deli style. It was as though they roasted a whole turkey, carved the breast, and put it on my sandwich! Instead of coming with the typical side of fries, it came with a salad - much appreciated. My husband... I actually had a reservation at another restaurant when someone from a winery recommended this restaurant. Situated in an older neighborhood, in an renovated old home sits this lovely, lovely restaurant. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality and presentation of the dinner. Great wine list, knowledgeable wait staff. Highly recommend.

Recipe was not open yet on our last trip to Oregon, so we were looking forward to trying it. We were definitely not disappointed! It is located in a turn of the 20th century house; all the parking is on the street, so it may take a few extra minutes to find a spot. The onion tart appetizer was exceptional;... More

was absolutely fantastic. All three of us foodies, ate a little bit of everything on the menu and everything was brilliant, vibrant, and so much flavor from the food itself, not over seasoned, just incredible.

Everyone we talked to raved and raved about how much we would love Recipe. We did enjoy our meal at Recipe, but I'm not sure I'd say it was life changing. We got the escargot, onion tart and a salad as appetizers. The onion tart was really warm, gooey and delicious. I ordered the flat iron steak for dinner, which... More

Our good experience started with a fantastic, down-to-earth server. we asked for recommendations and he steered us in all the right directions. we had the onion tart to start, seared tuna for one entree and pasta dish for the other. Each were very different but both highlighted the best the restaurant had to offer. The wine list of course was... More

Lovely old house, used as a neighborhood restaurant in a small town with a lot of classy restaurants. This was a nice surprise, very good and friendly service with very good food. Would be happy to return.

We were a party of six and everyone thought this food was fantastic. Several of us ordered the chicken which I have to say was the best I've had in quite awhile. It was tender, flavorful, and just delicious! One of our party had the duck and was his first time having duck. I think he would have licked the... More
