Reasonable menu but not up to expectations. For the price, the meal should have been a richer experience. Everything was OK, but not special. Out of a party of 6, all agreed and no one was especially pleased. No issues but would not go back. However, the desserts were delicious and special and the staff pleasant and accommodating.

This restaurant deserves its rave reviews. Everything was great, from the lovely bread to the Cuban bean soup to the arugula and endive and hazelnut salad to my seafood valezuela and my husband's rack of lamb. Subterra is "subterra" which means it lacks windows, but that is about all it lacks. It is down a long flight of stairs, but has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere.
