Very Nice Dinner

This was a very nice find. Both my wife and I had excellent meals. I started off with the oysters which were quite good. My wife had the black bean soup. For the main course, we had the pork and the beef. Both the pork and the beef were juicy and delicious and were quite sizable portions.

We had a fabulous dinner. My husband had a seafood stew which was very good. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Good food, Great service! Nice atmosphere. We thought it a very good choice. Good that the mobility challenged have the opportunity to use the back entrance.

I will say that one at our table had the duck and loved it. I had the beef shoulder and it was inexplicably not good. Not sure how they could have messed that up. Below average appetizers, average meals...we would not go back.

My wife and I had sampled Subterra’s excellent catering at some wine industry functions and were determined to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner. On 17 June we took a drive out of Portland and stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. The ambience in the cellar is lovely and our waitperson (Diana?) was charming, knowledgeable and happily told... More

It was a Monday short staffed by super gal leaping to tall places by multitasking the hostess position ,the phone answering person, the waitress with ideas for food , and finally the goodby gal when we left . It took 20 minutes for food to arrive so I'm sure she prepared that as well . Nice decor .

We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch right as the spot opened and were basically alone. Quick, attentive service with a great list of lunch options and fun cocktail list. Would love to go back in the future to try for dinner. The atmosphere is a treat in the wine cellar, very cute area. I had the BLT Mac... More

The pros: the salad and fig and brie wrap my friend and I had was good- I would order it again. The cons: it was memorial weekend, on a sunday, and we arrived at 1:10. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, and then our order, meal and bill got us out of there about 2:30. While... More
