Enter via the back of the place and avoid the 2x flight of stairs. Wonderful outdoor seating decks. Pretty much the typical Mexican fare. Noted for the very good sizzling steak fajita platter. Massive. Experienced and Attentive service.

Service and atmosphere were good but food was not very delicious. Nice deck to enjoy a drink or a beer but was not impressed with the food. Just average, there is better Mexican to be had.

A must if you like Mexican food. All the dishes that we ordered were excellent: fresh, and cooked to perfection. Nice ambience and great customer service.

Let me just start off by saying I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't visit this restaurant a long time ago, considering I live nearby. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you walk around to the back of the restaurant you find beautiful outside seating on a spacious deck. Such a relaxing ambience. The chips and... We went here for lunch based on online reviews as well as the local tour guide's high praises. Kids ordered off the kid menu (cheese burgers...I know) but this caused a huge delay in our whole order as they had to run out to a local shop for hamburger buns!! If there hadn't been chips and salsa, our table would... More

Location Location Location - If you go during the tourist season - be sure to get a table on the front deck. It's fun to simply a fun people watching spot. The service is friendly but the food is inconsistent.

this is BY FAR the best mexican food in the area (this from southern californians who have spent time in the baja and know the difference). run by a southwestern mexican-american and his wife, who happens to be from vietnam (??). they have a couple of EXCELLENT chefs, a nice, diverse menu, lots of cool stuff to look at hanging... We love sitting on the patio in the summer prior to going to a concert at the Britt Festival. Consistently good service and food and very good beverages.

We ate at this restaurant several times, but the average traveler may not know they have a lovely garden with tables in the back, and when we had our evening dinner the place was filled with happy Margarita drinkers and aromas of amazing food! Really nice place to kick back and talk about all the fascinating places visited around Jacksonville... More
