We were here once before with four grandchildren and enjoyed it so much that we decided to return again. This time we had our son and two young grandsons with us. It was just as delicious as we remembered it being. The cinnamon rolls cannot be beat. They are large, warm, perfectly baked and just plain delicious. The food we... More

Food - Awesome. I highly recommend the spinach and mushroom omelette for breakfast and the Cinnamon Rolls are to die for. Wait staff and Owner - Awesome. So friendly and helpful. Told us other places to eat and sites to see whilst we were there. Gave us tips as to where we could look for housing and work. Price -... More

We stopped at Roosters for our on-the-road lunch passing through Medford on the California-to-Portland trail, and if you like classic American fare done better than average (with the option of great chunks of fruit served with that burger, instead of fries), you can't go wrong with this joint. They experienced a suspected electrical fire in the bakery while we were... More

Good food, old timey ambiance, generous servings. So glad a friend recommended this place. I spent a lot of time on the way out admiring the excellent paintings (at very reasonable prices) on the walls.

I have been to Roosters probably around 8 times the last yr or so.This time started off good service always friendly but after our order was taken it took around 45mins For Our Food to arrive and that seemed a bit long for the kinda of place they are.I had ordered chicken fried steak and my first thought is this... Great value for this local fare of food, we went in for breakfast and enjoyed the omelets and biscuits and everything. Nothing fancy here, just good homestyle cooking at a great price. Friendly service too, more than happy to share with you thoughts on local attractions nearby. Just a little hole in the wall, nothing fancy by any means, but... More

This is an all around good place to eat. Staff is friendly and helpful, food is home cooked and good, servings are good sized. The cinnamon rolls are to die for, not dry, not gooey, just moist and perfect. Potatoes are cooked to perfection and good with everything. Its a low key warm inviting place. We frequent Roosters often. A... More

We had breakfast at Rooster's while staying in Medford at the nearby TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Traditional diner-style. Staff was friendly and very efficient. We enjoyed the homemade cinnamon rolls (huge and yummy). I had the french toast and it was great. My son was not thrilled with the pancakes (I didn't try them, so can't comment). Coffee was not... Sorry to offend anyone but I wouldn't ever go there again. The coffee is absolutely dreadful and the place is dreary and icky-feeling. I'm sorry, but I think in this day and age, there's no excuse for old coffee sitting in a pot until it makes your customer's tongue burn only to sell them on the fact, it's fresh!

Walk into Roosters and it feels like walking into a friendly restaurant from the 50s or 60s. Be prepared for casual but busy decor that features, well...lots of chickens and roosters. While it is less than modern, the friendliness of the staff and the yummy, generous food make the visit worth while. Be careful not to get full on the... More
