Simple cafe trying to be upscale

It felt like they were trying to turn a breakfast and lunch cafe into an upscale restaurant and it didn't quite work. The food was good but not that great. It also seemed a little expensive for what it was. The bread that came with homemade soup seemed like plain white bread. The salad that came... read more

Crescent Cafe was referred to us by many locals. We were so glad we went. It is a small restaurant with about 11 tables. The staff is so friendly and out-going. The decor is absolutely charming and decorated warmly, kind of Arts and Crafts style. The menu is small but, mighty. They had a few omelette/scramble dishes, that sounded excellent.... More

Loved this little place! While it doesn't look like much from the street and it's small inside, the food was phenomenal and the service excellent. Our meals came quickly. The soup was tasty and full of chicken and vegetables. Salads were tasty and filling. And that mac and cheese should come with a warning label - large portion and you... More

We had high expectations of Crescent Cafe based on reviews, and we were not disappointed. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, and seated - he also went over the menu and advised our server would be over shortly. The menu is small, but creative and seasonal, including several varieties of house-baked breads. Our server was very friendly... More

I absolutely love Crescent Cafe!! The food is delicious, always fresh and made to order. There is a wait since most things are not pre-made - always worth it. All fruits and vegetables are in season.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for breakfast over Thanksgiving break while in McMinnville and had one of the best breakfasts that we have had in a long time. The service was great and we felt taken care of throughout the meal. I had the chicken gravy and biscuits and we shared a caramelised banana pancake, which was incredible. The... More

I can't even come up with anything that could have been done differently. This is an incredible place, fresh, amazing products, flavors that burst, service is superb. Go see for yourself. Be careful though, it is addicting. For the gluten free, I had a corn meal hash. Amazing.

Wonderful homemade breads, great specials, good service, reasonably priced. The only caveat: don't linger too long over coffee or you will be asked to move on so they can seat from the long line trailing down the street.

We've eaten here no less then 4 times, always for breakfast. I have never eaten at a restaurant where there is almost a reverence for the products used and the final dish offered. The servers usually give beautiful detail to each component of the meal almost to where the cows are that produce the milk. Inviting and innovative. Always expect... More
