We stopped at this restaurant on the road between McMinnville and Cannon Beach. Continuing the “Beers of Oregon” tour this seemed like a logical place for lunch. A good menu with better than average offerings when compared to typical pub fare. The wine list had an above average selection of local Pinot Noirs as well. A flank steak salad, coupled... More

Not always easy to find a place that appeals to a broad range of family tastes but GVB is one of those places. They even had sparking wine by the glass for my wife and their root beer on tap for my son! The wait staff knew their beers and after I told them what I was looking forward served... More

Although they don't have a huge selection of vegetarian items for my family, what they do have is very good!

Fast seating, no wait. Service is friendly. Beers are good, although it will take awhile to get them. There seems to be a lot of work involved to swapping out kegs. We stopped in twice and had to select different beers as the staff were having difficulty. Burger and skirt steak was overcooked. Clam chowder was nice but a little... More

While traveling out to the Oregon Coast, we stopped here based on an overheard recommendation at our hotel. What a lucky break! We enjoyed our dinner visit so much, we returned for brunch two days later and we're planning on another stop when we leave the coast. The service was impeccable the first night, if a bit slow at brunch.... More

Had been there before a few times for happy hour and was ok. My wife Nd I decided to go one night. Was a busy night but we were seated rather quickly, however we sat there being ignored for a good 10 minutes. My wife and I talked about leaving. I flagged down a host and said that had been... More

Had a nice dinner after a day of wine tasting...don't know what it is when women are together being seated at the less than desirable table, stuck In a corner, such was the case tonight but food was very good and ambiance nice. Could have been paid a bit more attention to..would definitely go back tho.

If you are looking for formal secluded dining then this is probably not your place. If you like brewery pubs with great beers and surprisingly good food then this is well worth a try. A quiet Monday night but the atmosphere was fine and our waitress (also the bar manager) was friendly, engaging and efficient. My burger was excellent and... More

After a few nights at the coast, we planned to get to McMinnville in time to settle in and watch the final World Cup game at this new Brewery we'd heard so much about. We noticed that this restaurant had even posted an invitation on Facebook to watch the World Cup on their 55" screen. That was exactly what they... More

I've been here with family a few times and my impression is always the same. The beers are good, service and food is very average, price is high. I have never been impressed with the service we have received; the food is fine but I feel like I can get both better food and service at any number of other... More
