I eat at this place at least once a week. Cindy bought the restaurant a few years ago and kept it the same. Her children are the wait staff along with a few others. What I like is the excellent salads and soups and the service. It can be very busy and I still feel totally taken care of.

The Sage is the "go to" lunch spot in McMinnville. It is always very busy. The prices are good, and the food is good. It is not outstanding, but it is consistent. The beef and barley soup is my favorite. Oh, and the berry cobbler is very good as well. The salads are just OK, but everyone seems to love... More

We lunch at this family-owned restaurant at least once or twice a week - even though the menu is limited (excellent homemade soups, breads, salads, and sandwiches) - and have never had a bad experience in the two years that we've lived nearby. Try the beef barley, chicken noodle, fresh vegetable, cream of mushroom, or any of the others on... More

The Salads Sandwiches and Soup are always terrific and the house made bread is a wonderful treat. The location is in a mezzanine above La Bella Casa which is also worth a visit as you arrive or depart from The Sage. The restaurant can become a little crowded but is well worth the wait.

Had the best salad with turkey, bacon, tomato, avocado, boiled egg and blue cheese crumbles. Combination of red wine vinaigrette and creamy Swiss garlic was excellent. Fresh local ingredients and service was good as well. Returned a second time in a week to have that salad.

Never thought a cheese sandwich could taste so good. Cheese and avocado, what a delight! Their fresh made bread was delicious with the sandwich and the potato soup I had. Upstairs from wonderful little shops so you could eat and go downstairs and shop. McMinnville is Oregon's little gem!

Great loft-type location in an old town boutique. The food is very quality and tastes homemade. Their bread is homemade and outstanding. The prices are a bit higher but that is to be expected for outstanding quality. The veggie sandwich is to die for. The service is consistently average. I have been here 4 times.

The Sage Restaurant is on the mezzanine of a shop (Bella Casa) and a bit hard to find. The sandwiches, salads and soups are very good. Service was attentive and the cosy neighborhood feel was just right after a drive up from Eugene.

Sage is located upstairs in McMinnville's little mini-mall, it is open like a loft, in an older bldg., making for a lovely dining experience. the meals are home made, the owners are wonderful people with great people skills. Their home made meals and breads, make this luncheon place special and delicious. Right on 3rd Street, downtown McMinnville, Or.

Located in the mezzanine of the Bella Casa store, you will find the best lunch you can imagine! All the soups, salads, sandwiches and bread is homemade! They even roast their own turkey, chicken, etc! This is where we always take out of town guests for lunch and we've never been disappointed! Can't recommend it enough! It gets busy fast,... More
