Located in the mezzanine of the Bella Casa store, you will find the best lunch you can imagine! All the soups, salads, sandwiches and bread is homemade! They even roast their own turkey, chicken, etc! This is where we always take out of town guests for lunch and we've never been disappointed! Can't recommend it enough! It gets busy fast,... More

This cozy restaurant was hopping the day we stopped in for soup and a sandwich. Absolutely delicious soup. I had the beef barley soup of the day, and my friend had their always available cream of broccoli. Will make this a regular monthly afternoon treat.

I have had lunch twice in this restaurant. It is a totally casual, deli fare with a very nice menu and really nice waitstaff. The bread is incredible and the soups and sandwiches all look delicious as do the salads. I had a difficult time choosing, but my salad this time was excellent. I had one of the sandwiches last... If you haven't been to The Sage, I would recommend that you go about 11:45, because it WILL fill up quickly! That's a good sign - isn't it? The BEST homemade bread, wonderful sandwiches and yummy soups and folks with smilies to take care of you. I especially LOVE their homemade Red Wine Vinaigrette! The Sage is always buzzing with... This is kind of a hometown Panera Bread. Their specialty is homemade soup and bread. They also have a variety of sandwiches and salads and they have excellent pie. It is located on the second floor of an upscale variety store and has a warm friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of free parking in the rear off second street. It... More

Been here several times over a year or two. I like the atmosphere and the veggie offerings. My salad was good but not great - lettuce just slightly tired and the blue cheese dressing rather thin. Good decaf but no offer of a refill; I had to flag down a server. Excellent bread but served below room temperature with cold,... More

The menu is from the 60s, or maybe the 40s. The location seems to be from the era of tea rooms in department stores (actually I think it IS from the 40s). The Sage only serves lunch, has a limited menu, and no liquor license. You have to go through whatever the latest version of retail is on the first... More

hot bowl of soup and a hunk of bread on a cold day is a perfect way to warm up a dreary afternoon. Highly recommend The Sage restaurant for a wonderful lunch spot.
