This place knocked it out of the ballpark for breakfast. I had the Wild Wood Toast, which is the most amazing French Toast. Almost like a coffee cake crust, one slice is more than you can eat. The milk was ice-cold, they warmed the syrup, and everything was prepared with an eye toward quality and treating their diners like discerning... More

Cute old style diner. Food was fresh, service was fast, portions were large. Their version of French toast was excellent.

A big slab of fresh homemade bread came both with my mother-in-laws bacon and eggs and my chef salad. Looking over at my dining companions crisp, plentiful bacon, I almost wished I had ordered that too, but was very happy with my Chef Salad piled high with goodies (including some large "crumble" of that aforementioned bacon). Only thing I disliked,... More

Found this place on Urban Spoon and was totally worth it!! It was a little off the route we were taking through town but was easy to find with GPS. Fantastic breakfast with the family... great food and service!

This was a little place right on main street. The decorations are cute and kept us busy for quite a while. the food was excellent. Usually breakfast is pretty routine. My husband got the one pancake with eggs. It was HUGE. would have been enough for three pancakes. And he said it was very tasty. I got the Downtowner. It... More

If you are not hungry, just order coffee. This place serves up massive breakfast on a plate and nostalgia hanging on the walls. This is a no nonsense cafe that puts good homemade food in your belly. We went for breakfast on a recomendation from a server at Tina's in Dundee....how could you go wrong? The homeade toast is all... More

Big bang for your buck with large portions and delicious food. I love their homemade toast. Just make sure you come with an empty stomach, or be prepared to bring something home with you. TIP: Get there before 10am or you may have to wait outside until a table opens up.

We were traveling back to Portland after a weekend on the coast. We wanted a good breakfast, and just happened to drive by the Wild Wood and thought it would suffice. It did much more then suffice-it was excellent. I had their French toast rolled in granola and fried-very yummy. The service was great and we were served very quickly.... More

Tucked in a store front a few blocks down Baker St. from Linfield College you will find this delightful restaurant offering a wide selection for breakfast and lunch. (It closes at 2 PM). The interior offers a large selection of vintage restaurant and food memorabilia which were great conversation pieces. We walked in just as they were closing and the... More

We enjoyed our Sunday morning breakfast here. A short wait, that I would do again! The thick toast and the potatoes were great! Good gravy too! Fresh brewed ice tea was good. Lots of old signs on the wall and a quaint atmosphere. I would love to try some of their other menu items as well! Not the best service... More
