Oh my what great breads

We purchased a loaf of the raisin wheat bread at 11 this morning and it is finished. We took it along on our wine tastings. Great breakfast and lunch choices. Trying a slice of quiche. Pastries look outstanding. Coffee and wine available. Take out or eat in. The. Best bread that I have had since my... read more

The lunch menu has nice array of sandwiches, soups and salads which are priced fairly. We enjoyed the quality and freshness. The interior is eclectic and has nice window views of the street. Some outdoor tables too. The big taste here is the baked goods with the macaroons the stars. I tried a chocolate one and it was perfect. Worth... More

The lemon tart will make your mouth smile. The marionberry tart must have been spectacular, because they wouldn't share.... They have a great story about "illegal cookies". The city council wanted to issue a special license that "allowed" them to make cookies. They just kept on baking.. oh yum.

We stopped in to grab a few items - and were soooo glad we did! The chocolate macaroons are to die for! Wish we had gotten a few more for the road. The chocolate croissant was also heavenly - light, buttery and melted in your mouth. We also tried the almond cookie - I think this might have been a... More

This place has average food and service. A bit overpriced. But the coconut and chocolate macaroons are the best I have ever eaten. My niece lives in Alaska and she loves these macaroons. So every year I buy her a bag full and ship them up to Alaska for her birthday. She is ecstatic!

Excellent selection of lunchtime sandwiches and they are HUGE. Definitely for sharing (or keeping for a snack later). Do try the Turkey on Buttermilk Raisin Bread.

When in McMinnville area, we always pass up motel breakfast to come here for their excellent baked goods and coffee. Staff always pleasant. We also always buy bread for picnics and it is very tasty. Recommend.

Nice little bakery just off main street. Very fresh bread; one of the best sandwiches I've had; great spot for a quick lunch.

My husband and I stumbled upon this bakery/cafe while delivering our son to neighboring Linfield College this past August. I just had to return for another delicious lunch while visiting McMinnville for Parent Weekend at the college. Red Fox serves a variety of tasty sandwiches and salads, all on fresh homemade breads, and accompanied by a yummy cookie. I've had... More
