In Manzanita on the Oregon Coast in a town of a few hundred people. The appetizer made the meal. It was grilled peaches with a thin meat wrap and goat cheese. The wine selection was reasonable, and the ambience quite classy. The dessert selection was obscene - in a good way..

We have enjoyed this resturant for almost 10 years! Whenever we go to Manzinita we make a reservation to eat here. We have some other favorites, but you can't beat the wine selection special, the apricot starter and fish in parchment main dish! Also, the friendly staff tops off the experience !

Pros: Delicious grilled peach appetizer, good halibut special, good mushroom soup. Choose your own salad toppings, kind of fun. Overall best meal we had in our stay. Con: Kind of hot / stuffy on night we went. Sautéed vegetables - portion was miniscule - more like a garnish.

Everything on the menu was wonderful. We had the halibut and the salmon with tomato basil soup. It was really good!

I live in Twin Rocks... so I am local. I was visiting the Friday night farmers market and exited town a way I normally go due to emergency vehicles. I was not able to get the pie I wanted so I stopped into the pie shop next door to Terra Cotta when they opened their door and started setting up... More

You'll feel like the owners are cooking just for you! Excellent food, always fresh. Personal wine selection if that's your passion. Take your time and enjoy the quiet pace in this sleepy beach town, this is a special night out.

Adequate -- some weaknesses. The service was attentive, good. Pesto on the linguini was tasty. The added shrimp were . . . added. Nothing special. The stuffed chicken breast (one of the specialties) was very tasty, although the chicken breast was just a touch dry. The stuffing and the sauce compensated well. There is a nice wine selection. They offer... More

We ate here twice during a recent 10-day stay in Manzanita - just had to return for our "final" dinner on the coast. Some reviewers have mentioned the inability to accommodate late walk-ins. I would say to remember that this is a small (9 tables) restaurants that plans on about 40 covers a night, and needs to know how many... More

The decor here is "little old lady", which isn't a bad thing at all. It feels comfortable, but still elegant. The food is always exceptional, I've never had anything twice because I never doubt that anything won't be great...if a bit eclectic. The exception to that rule is their "Million Dollar" coffee, which is some type of Grand Marnier, Baileys... More

This is the best restaurant in Manzanita and possibly even the best of the coast. Small, family-run, cozy little place in a house-like building. We recognize the same staff over the years. Had the best salmon of our lives here - parchment-baked salmon with apples and bleu cheese, WOW! Interesting combination but amazingly delicious. We look forward to eating here... More
