lovely dinner

We had driven by this restaurant the other day when it was closed and elected to come back today. Its small, only 8 tables, but lovely menu. Small but adequate wine list. They were able to make a vegetarian dish out of the chicken saba noodle dish by substituting tofu which my wife enjoyed. I had... read more

What a cute place! We walked there from our hotel, and it was probably a mile. But it was an easy walk with really cute houses to look at. The restaurant is adorable, and the staff really awesome. They were packed and and it was fun to see a few couples that obviously came often enough that they had their... More

We appreciated the intimate dining experience that offered an interesting menu which satisfied my carnivore husband and my vegetarian preferences easily. I would recommend this restaurant. to anyone!

We discovered this restaurant by chance: we were too late for the more popular restaurant a block away, and ended up very glad we had to switch. Positives: very fine original cuisine. Very reasonable prices for food and wine. Negative: menu choices limited (only becomes a problem if you return very often; we were in town for only two days).... More

This is a quaint cafe with an eclectic menu on the horizon that is a big change from the usual here. There is an Asian influence on the menu & lunch is going to be an option soon. The steak dinner experience I there with my friend was wonderful with a bottle of wine as well.

I can't comment on the food because we actually never got a chance to eat here. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and arrived at our confirmed (by a phone voice mail) reservation time only to be told that we never made a reservation. We played back the voice mail message, to the person who actually left it (Henry), but... More

Our family of 3 adults were weekending in the Manzanita area and were encouraged to eat at Terra Cotta. It's cute and a bit quirky with a mix of a casual & more elegant features, but the service was good and the food was excellent. Two of our party enjoyed the fresh halibut en papillote served in two different versions... More

Very nicely decorated little place, run by a husband (waiter) and wife (chef). Halibut cooked in parchment was excellent, NY strip steak was good but not outstanding. Excellent fresh baked bread sticks. Nice atmosphere, Oregon coast upscale style. Owner will talk your ear off. Would return.

A warm summer evening, not many customers, nouveau French - Portuguese. Small family run restaurant, everything fresh and handmade. Everything was so delicious. Also a nice little comkunity. Clearly one of the most undiscovered places in Oregon. We had a gourmet dinner in a French style country house. Try to eat everything!

January at the Oregon coast may not be to everyone's taste but the Terra Cotta Cafe should be. The Terra Cotta Cafe is a lovely experience. To begin, the atmosphere is our idea of perfect, softly lit with a rosy glow, quiet but not uncomfortable, flowers on a table by a window--simply lovely, but not stuffy. You can dress casually...
