They were about 90% full when we arrived -but it wasn't crazy busy. I ordered the oatmeal, which comes with raisins and brown sugar. I wanted some nuts and our waiter said, "I'll have to charge you for them." I said fine and made the mistake of not asking how much. I got a condiment cup (think shot glass size)... More

I ride to Manzanita several times a year on motorcycle trips from the Seattle area with one or more friends. We always eat at the Big Wave Cafe. The food is excellent, and Brian, Carol, Sam, and PJ always make us feel very welcome. I am very much looking forward to my next visit.

Not bad, not bad at all...but the competition in Manzanita is very stiff and I'd recommend heading down the road to Wanda's in Nehalem.

Had lunch here with my husband, sister-in-law, and our two nieces. We wandered in after getting caught in a downpour on the street! The service was friendly, though not particularly attentive. We had to wait several minutes to have our order taken and our water wasn't refreshed very quickly. Overall, the food was decent. I had their salmon fish and... More

My parents who live in Manzanita love this place. Great service, local seafood and a menu with something for everyone. Terrific French fries!

Visiting from Jacksonville Fl and a real seafood gourmet. This place was a jewel. I hope to get back soon.

My grandson and I looked for a place to eat dinner. Staying in Manzanita, we happened upon this place and being a cafe I figured they would have hamburgers, one of the few foods he will eat. I had the French dip and salad with citrus vinaigrette dressing. Both were excellent. Best one I've ever had. My grandson liked his... More

This has been a stop of ours for over ten years. Our recent experiences have changed that. The breakfast menu has recently been reduced to what is pretty much standard fast order fare, but at a higher price. The toast and pancakes were cold. The pancakes were overdone on the bottom and couldn't be cut with a fork. A recent... More

Breakfast was good, very filling and had plenty of leftovers (still delicious the next day). Price was a little high but that's to be expected in a beach town. Our waitress was very pleasant and the berry syrup was awesome.

When on the coast you should grab every chance to eat all the seafood you can get your hands on, and this is a place that will help you do just that. Great Crab Louis - ask for the thousand island on the side so you can add just a little to the large pieces of fresh fresh crab. A... More
