Fabulus Fresh Seafood

We have a place in Rockaway Beach and tried Big Wave for first time. The salmon was fresh caught and amazing. the steamers were impressive, They even had a respectable wine list. We will definitely be returning.

Ate breakfast here on my last day in Manzanita. It's a light and welcoming restaurant with tables and booth seating. The staff are pleasant; I had French toast, eggs and bacon - yummy!

Although I live in Cannon Beach, I do not drive, so I don't get to eat there often. The exterior of the Café is deceptive, but everything else is far from skin-deep. Their grilled halibut is fresh and tastes wonderful and I have also enjoyed their crab-cakes. When I had dinner there recently with visiting friends, we had a great waitress,... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find a great seafood restaurant right on 101. I had the generous crab Louie, my wife had the halibut, & our friend had the rib eye. All were excellent as was the service. After dinner we had the peach berry crisp with Tillamook vanilla bean ice cream. Simply stupendous.

Nice atmosphere but considering there are only 3 others in here eating, I received my sausage gravy and it isnt even warm ...it tastes ok but again nothing fancy. The portion is average size. Service is great though but then again there are only 3 of us in here. They could use more gravy on the biscuits. Also the walls... More

Not a bad place, nothing extraordinary, but when asked, we were told the Razor Clams were fresh from Seaside. They weren't--you can tell the difference and besides the Seaside clams are not being served now due to some health issues. Otherwise, service was OK, food was OK, might return but overall a forgettable place with likely better choices elsewhere.

We love this place! This was our second visit, and once again we weren't disappointed. We were greeted and seated promptly, the service was friendly and attentive, and the iced tea was generously refilled--a must on a super hot day! We shared the pan fried oysters to start. Perfect. Lightly breaded, moist, and tasting fresh from the sea. We also... More

This restaurant is a great location if you are passing through. Plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I thought the prices were a little high for what you get. it took awhile to get someone to serve us but once they showed up, we had great service. I would go here again if I didn't find... More

We stayed in Manzanita on a Monday night and many of the eateries are closed Monday's. We were fortunate that the Big Wave was open. I enjoyed the delicious crab cakes appetizer which was a large portion. My husband order the beet salad and there was enough for me to have some also. We topped it off with pie. I... More

Manzanita is a charming community with exceptional restaurants. Although we were staying farther south, the quality of the food in Manzanita was excellent so it was worth the daily drive. Restaurants in Manzanita generally have longer waiting times between placing the order and the arrival of the food because the food is prepared—not pre-prepared. We had breakfast and everyone in...
