We've been here a few times, years apart, and will definitely eat here again when we get back to the coast. It's more than you'd expect from a "café" but it's not a fine dining experience. The place was perfect for really good family meals, and we usually eat here twice during our 1 week vacations. We've had everything from... More

Today, based on a recommendation, my partner and I went to breakfast at the Big Wave Cafe. It is nicely decorated and appeared clean and fresh. There were a grouping of antique style tables in the middle of the space with booths along the edges. I had the crab eggs benedict with country potatoes which was delicious. There was plenty... More

We went to breakfast Saturday at 11:30 am. The service, food and overall experience was excellent! My husband loved the eggs Benedict and 10 year old son ate every last bite of the pancakes. Our waiter was very attentive and patient with kids. We will be back!

We ate breakfast here. It was a fairly busy Saturday morning, but we were seated promptly. They gave the toddler crayons and a kids menu immediately. The food came out fast and hot. I had excellent bacon. I asked for it crispy and they delivered. It was the best bacon I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The... More

We only went there once! It was ok. It's NOT 'foodie' food by any means. Don't expect much in the way of food or service- it's just a cafe. It's ok.

The decor is nothing special, but the food is really good. We were told that this is where the local go to eat, and we believe it.

to get that quality a meal so reasonably priced. There were four of us. Three ordered separate seafood entrees, and I ordered the Friday special, prime rib, because I wanted to complement the wine selected by one of the other diners. We shared entrees with forkful trades. The beef was good, but next time, I'll order anything from the fresh... More

I'm a local, but i've never eaten here for lunch or dinner. I decided to come for lunch with my mother in law. It wasn't very busy, which is good. I ordered a 10oz rib eye steak, rare, which came with a salad, french fries, and veggies. I also ordered sauteed mushrooms on top of the steak. The salad was... More
