Service was ok... Food was really really salty. Hard to mess up Mexican food but this one qualified. Should of got the hint with the chips and salsa. Really really stale chips. Overall it gets a star. Not a place I would recommend!

Don't go here for any Mexican atmosphere, there is none. And the late day sun is barely blocked at all by the thin window screens. Bright and hot on a sunny day. The food we had was very good. Nice crisp chips with salsa to start. A fairly extensive menu with lots of choices. I ordered Pollo Loco. Good flavors... More

Huge menu, reasonably priced. My chicken fajita arrived sizzling, but in what seemed like Bisto gravy. Good sized chicken pieces, mushrooms and onions. It was nothing special for sure. My wife's chimichanga, ordered as a side not a complete meal, was well done. Service was OK, not enthusiastic or friendly. Bus person who filled water couldn't speak English, or chose... More

The menu is huge, and perhaps that's part of the problem - they're trying to do too much - but the tortilla soup is an excellent choice It is hearty and tasty and a good-sized serving. I'd suggest staying away from items that have refried beans and melted cheese as these are very bland unappetizing. The service is prompt and... More

My spouse is mexican and he loved the tortilla soup. I got the taco combination plate. Mine was average, nothing special, but his soup was awesome. It came with plenty of fried tortilla strips, avocado and sour cream. We ended up putting my leftovers (rice, beans) in his soup, it was so good. We both ordered this again on our... More

This is the real thing. They also do the fake Mexico for those who want it. Great service. Watch out when the say they say spicey.

My picky eater was so happy to find this place on our vacation. Beans and a plain cheese quesadilla is her food of choice and coming from Portland before this and not finding a single Mexican restaurant, we were happy. This place is exceedingly average, but it delivered on everything we wanted. My shrimp fajitas were good, but had a... More

We had fish tacos, steak fajitas, and margaritas and it was delicious! We loved the service, the guys was super nice and told us about a few hikes in the area that we ended up going on. Laid back and super chill place to eat :)

Serves both the expected Mex-american food as well as authentic Mexican. The hot pot of the latter is like being served from a volcano or eating from a hibachi - varied and delish, both picante y caliente. Just a block from the beach, it's a great way to warm up after a winter walk along the ocean's edge.

If you like traditional Tex-Mex fare, and I do, you won't go wrong at El Mariachi Loco. The servers are friendly enough and attentive. The food value for the price is good. I enjoy a good burrito and enchilada and they serve them here. I rate it a 3 because it is average, nothing outstanding. I will eat here again... More
