First, the positives, and there are many. This is a place to dine, not just eat. The location, the ambiance, the service are all first rate. Yes, it is on the expensive side but again, you come here to dine, not just eat. The negative. My wife and I dined there on Thanksgiving. The owner and chef had a concept... More

Escaped cooking by taking the family to the Bay House for Thanksgiving, done several times before over the past 30 years. Still great service, food and view. And good peach cosmo.

Wow. A truly awesome wine list, top notch service, a gorgeous ocean front location, and downright fabulous food. We had the tasting menu, and it was all fabulous. Prepare for a leisurely excursion to an outpost of culinary heaven.

The food, wine, and service were all fabulous. This is our second time at the Bay House, and we will definitely go back again!

We had booked a table for six in the dining room. We were greeted by the owner and showed to our table right away. After looking over the menu, we realized that we could only get the "Neighbor to Neighbor" menu if we sat in the lounge. We were graciously shown to a large table in the lounge in front... More

We had a wonderful meal here. The staff are so warm and friendly. From the moment you walk in you feel they are happy to see you. The food is so different and very good. Expensive, but they were serving potato soup that I would have happily drowned in. The sorbet for desert is exceptional. Again I can't say I... More

We arrived early on a fall Saturday evening and were graciously welcomed into the lounge. A great view across Siletz bay beckoned, a decent guitarist singer songwriter provided background. The popular choice was the three course menu: the sole point of weakness was, as other reviews mention, the over dressed salad . . . Could simply ask server to adjust... More

not just a beautiful setting, but also a delicious dinner besides. All we wanted on the Oregon coast was the perfect halibut meal, and we found it! Val, our server, was perfect. Steve, the owner, was very gracious and the food was spectacular! Kevin Ryan, the chef, was so friendly and personable. We plan to return tomorrow.

My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary. The staff and service was absolutly outstanding! As a former server/bartender I can truley say the service was on point. My boyfriend and I both chose to do the tasting menu and it was phenominal! Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. I will absolutly be eating here next time I... More

Best meal on our holiday so far. Hubby had clam and I had pork belly appetisers. Both were spectacular - full of flavour. We both had the mesculin salad with apples and blue cheese dressing - our only complaint would be that there was too much dressing for our taste. Hubby who is very, very picky about steak loved his.... More
