Whenever guests visit me in Lincoln City, we go to the Blackfish Cafe. Unlike some of the tourist traps in the area, there is no view, but the restaurant is bright and modern, with some very nice artwork gracing the walls. We had a good conversation with our knowledgeable server that resulted in a good bottle of wine -- I... More

Staying at the Coho Beachfront hotel, this was just a short drive away. The hotel recommended other places to go to, but this one had nice reviews so we decided to give it a go. Being with four people, we all couldn't agree more we came to the right place to enjoy some real and tasty food. Nice atmosphere, friendly... More

After reading the reviews, my husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by having dinner at the Blackfish Café. I had made reservations, and we were shown to our table immediately. We were there for 10-15 minutes before we got service, and the noise level was rather high but those are the only complaints. Once we did get service,... More

We love their cioppino and wine selection - though they were out of the one wine we wanted - the service was fairly prompt.

I have lived in Lincoln City for a year now and work at one of the motels in town. Guests are always asking for dining suggestions and having only heard good things, I have always kept Blackfish cafe as one of the top to try. I was excited to finally try it myself recently. Upon ordering one of their specialty... More

Food is usually good but the sameness of the menu is a turn off. The menu hasn't changed much since the establishment opened. The best dish for me is the seafood cioppino. Excellent!! But I wish they had more and newer selections...

A few nights ago, we had a delightful dinner at the Black Fish Cafe in Lincoln City. From the clean open format with stunning fish prints by Bruce Koike to our friendly, funny and well informed waitress, Jennie, to the original fresh local choices offered by chef Rob Pounding, it was a pleasure. Standouts were the sweet scallops with rich... More

We have had over 20 fabulous experiences at the Blackfish Café. The atmosphere is relaxing, staff accommodating, and best of all, the food is excellent. From appetizer to desert, each dish is prepared as if it is destined to win any chef's competition around. And the sauces... oh man. Each one is obviously created with hours of attention and reduction... More

We were lucky to get a table at Blackfish on a Monday night when the place was still full at 7:30. the service was a little off, a mite slow and far too apologetic, but since we were with family and enjoying our evening, it detracted little from the overall experience. We started with the variety of fried shellfish appetizer,... More

Superb food, great cocktails, great dessert, and great service. Not cheap, but not too expensive either, if you're a diner who wants quality? I'm still here and will for sure go back again this week.
