Nice lunch, but portion could be a little bigger

We stopped by for lunch. Two of us had the fish of the day (Salmon with green beans) and two of us had the clam linguini. The salmon was spectacular, melt-in-your-mouth fresh; but I was still hungry after finishing it. The clam linguini was delicious and well served. Maybe we should have added a... read more

When I lived in Depoe Bay 8-10 years ago ate here a few times, back then they had the best clam chowder in town. Came with my girlfriend, she had the swordfish and said it was okay, the bite I had seemed way overcooked. I started with a Caesar salad, the dressing was very bland, almost tasteless. Also thought it... More

In town for a workshop. Driving on 101 in search of a steak/seafood restaurant; a cut above Applebee's, and I find Blackfish Cafe. Delightfully small and personal. Fabulous menu, intriguing sauces, perfect wine. The most tender steak I've had in a very long time. SO worth a visit! May need a reservation during busy season. I will be back!

It's very cozy and the food was AMAZING! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food selection was surprisingly upscale and the prices were not ridiculous. We'll go back again for sure!

Food was great. service a little slow, but worth the wait. Price was good for our lunch. Had crab cake sandwich and fish n' chips.

The menu is varied but everything we ordered was really good, attentive waitstaff and really CLEAN. It is a bit on the spendy side and the portions are on the smaller side but better not to gorge yourself so you can enjoy a walk on the beach after

I advise reservations, but dress code is not so important. Many in jeans. It is a coastal town after all. We were told 15 minute wait, seated within about 8!! Waitress graciously answered and provided tastings for 3 whites. Very nice. Tantalized us with the special, but I was already Jonesin' for clams, which I ordered. The scallops were the... More

DH and I just had a wonderful meal at Blackfish. My scallops were to die for. Very tender and wonderfully seasoned. DH had their tuna and he loved the preparation. Staff were wonderful and gave good suggestions. We will be back

We're up from California visiting our cousin for two weeks. We decided to have dinner at the Blackfish Cafe, and Wow! My friend had the Braised NW Lamb Shank and I had the Grilled Breast of Duck with an Oregon Wild Blackberry and Tawny Port Conserve. Her lamb shank was outstanding and the polenta and root vegetables were a wonderful... More
