I had eaten here last year on my annual trip to Lincoln City and it was so good that I was eager to return. The menu is a nice menu but a couple of us desired to change up a few things. Sorry, not allowed. The chef won't do the halibut without the succotash. Really? Can I have the polenta... More

I ordered the Seared Albacore Tuna and my wife ordered the Scallops with Risotto. The tuna was excellent but I did not care for the vegetables that accompanied the entree as they had too much bacon flavoring. My wife absolutely raved about her dish. The clam chowder was also very good but not the best I had encountered on the... More

Sunday night, 10 people with a variety of dietary demands (and a baby) went to Blackfish Cafe hoping that it would at least be okay. Glad to report we all left Blackfish very, very happy! (Earlier in the weekend, our crew went to dinner at Tidal Raves and had a cocky waitress and some sub-par Rockfish. We all left feeling... More

Everything about the food, wine, and service made our evening perfect. This was our 3rd visit and we have been charmed each time. I also was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices on some excellent Oregon wines. They really understand how to prepare and present seafood.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through Lincoln City. The clam chowder was solid but nothing outstanding. I ordered the shrimp sandwich. The shrimp was plentiful but they skimped on the cheese and seasoning. My husband had the fried oysters which he said was very good. The coleslaw that came with it was awesome!

The space is beautiful, the food did not amaze me at lunchtime. I'd like to go back for dinner. Do get the Ding Dongs, they pair with anything well!

Day after Labor Day we were seated without reservations after a brief wait. Wife had scallops that were excellent while I went with an equally well prepared salmon dish and chowder. Could see the head chef standing guard over the counter checking and arranging presentation of dishes. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Great choice for a meal on... More

I came in solo at 6PM on the Friday after Labor Day. The hostess sat me by the window to wait with a warning that they were booked up for at least an hour. She smoothed things a bit by addressing me as "young man". (I'm 68). The food gods were sympathetic to my missed lunch and I was seated... More

Great dinner with the Mr.! Food, thumbs up, ditto ambience and service. Fairly priced. Go, you'll not be disappointed!

We were visiting Lincoln City with our 8 year old and decided to have dinner here at the recommendation from staff at our hotel. We were slightly intimidated by the dim atmosphere since we were dressed like travelers, but we were welcomed after a short wait and our daughter was given a child's menu. The prices were reasonable and the... More
