Description: This restaurant was previously listed on Trip Advisor and now it isn't. We found it by using Trip Advisor. Recently we were visiting Lincoln City and thought we would check their latest reviews before going back and found they weren't listed, although we drove by and they were obvioulsy open and doing business.

For all the hype, I wouldn't go back. Fish was fine - $12 for 3 piece halibut, nice and crispy, but fries were average and clam chowder was super thick, gloppy, not flavored well. The place was small, with 1 server/cashier at 6pm on a Friday. Some people were cleaning their own tables. I'd try other places before going back.

The food here was very good and the service was even better. This seems to be a family business and as we waited for our dinner, we learned from one of the owners, all sorts of fun information about the local activities.

After moving to Lincoln City, Oregon, I was looking for a good fish and chips restaurant. A friend suggested J's, and I am so glad she did. It is a small place, and often crowded (for good reason), but each order is freshly-made - not sitting on a steam table for hours. I tried the 4-piece combo: 1 piece of... More

The fish here is fantastic. We always try to stop here on our way through Lincoln city and are never disappointed. The fish is fresh and always done well. It is also very well priced. The place is small and usually busy, but worth the wait if there is one. Just don't sit down till you have ordered.

Good food for an excellent price. However, be prepared to wait as service although very friendly can be slow. Limited seating.

My wife "doesn't like fish" but after having J's fish and chips she does!!! Will be sad to see when she orders it elsewhere and it isn't near as good. We ate there at least 4 times during out week in Lincoln City. They are usually very busy and have limited seating so you will probably have to wait for... More

Had a 35 minute wait for food and while it was very good, I'm not sure it was worth the wait. Call in your order and find a better place to sit cause seating is super limited.

We went to JJ's after having lunch at the famous Mo's (which we dont consider so famous and WAY expensive compaired to JJ's!) JJ's is 110% better then mo's and the only thing Mo's has that they don't is a view... Which I would rather eat good food at a good price! We shared a cup of their clam chowder... More
