This restaurant was previously listed on Trip Advisor and now it isn't. We found it by using Trip Advisor. Recently we were visiting Lincoln City and thought we would check their latest reviews before going back and found they weren't listed, although we drove by and they were obvioulsy open and doing business.

Fast friendly little place

It was a little dive with folks who knew what they were doing!! You order at the counter, many choices, great prices, and sit down and wait while your order is prepared and they then bring it to you. It was a fast food for seafood but delicious!!! No alcohol served. Beer and wine would've been... read more

There is a famous fish n chip place not to far from here that is famous but that doesn't mean there good. I won't even go there anymore after to many bad fish n chips. I found J's and it was very good. BUSY also, at one point for such a small place she had at least 15 order going... More

This is a little hole in the wall place. They cut and batter your fish to order. For the price, it is among the best fish and chips I have had.

It's very tiny and casual, but our meal was terrific. I ordered the halibut and chips, and the halibut was tender and delicately flavored, not the least bit overcooked, and the batter was light and, well, perfect. My husband ordered the fish tacos, which he very much enjoyed, and he thought the clam chowder was exceptional, too. We didn't mind... More

We went for lunch two days in a row. The first time I had the 4 pc. basket with halibut, cod and two prawns plus fries and cole slaw. Today I had the 3 pc. cod basket. The fish is fantastic. The breading is outstanding - crispy and light. It's a very small place with limited seating and little atmosphere.... More

J's is not much to look at but you can't beat the fish and chops. Yes they make their own pepper/salt chip. They can get very busy and there can be a wait but it is well worth is. Hot, crispy, moist Halibut YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Ok... Here is the deal...you walk in and it smells like a place to go buy fresh raw seafood...seriously, It smells like salt water when you walk into the door. The place is ran down...but... the place is family owned and operated and they are so very proud of what they put on your plate (or in your basket). Not... More

There's only a few tables and you're not allowed to sit till you have food (which may take awhile), but I would eat here again in a heartbeat. This was the least expensive and best tasting meal of our trip. So good!
