Description: This restaurant was previously listed on Trip Advisor and now it isn't. We found it by using Trip Advisor. Recently we were visiting Lincoln City and thought we would check their latest reviews before going back and found they weren't listed, although we drove by and they were obvioulsy open and doing business.

The location could be better and probably is well-lit during the day, but at night it's difficult to find. Once you walk in be prepared to not be greeted and to have the staff standing around paying more attention to their phones than the patrons. Ordered the regular 3 cod fish & chips. I must be missing something the other... More

This place makes just plain good fish & chips at a very reasonable price. The sides are pretty good, too. They make their own salt & pepper potato chips, a little like kettle chips. The curly fries are well made, as are the regular fries. Their slaw and chowder are both decent, though not as good as the fish, which... More

Best fish and chips ever, same goes for the coconut shrimp. Homemade potato chips are delicious, you can't go wrong with what you order here. I don't get the bad reviews here, I have never had a bad experience. The place is small, who cares! What the restaurant lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in its prices on fresh... More

We picked this place based on reviews on Yelp. In my opinion, they are mostly deluded. The tiny rundown place has only four tables and seems more geared to take-out. We started with a gummy, floury clam chowder that boasted a few raw, albeit tiny, pieces of potato, and almost entirely missing any evidence of clam. That was followed by... More

I don'the know how this place got so high a rating. The place is a whole in the wall & dingy. The food was just OK, but I had I digestion all evening! Changet of grease may help. Not worth the money or time.

I hesitated to write this review because, being local, I don't want the place flooded with tourists when I'm hungry! But in all fairness, this is the best fried fish in town. Located in a repurposed drive through restaurant, it is nothing fancy. Signs throughout tell you what not to do, like Seinfeld and the soup. But it's worth it!... More

This place was highly recommended by 3 different locals. Fish and chips were good, but Place is tiny, after ordering you have to wait for a table. Our order was given to someone who had just ordered, so we ended up waiting 1/2 hour for the wrong order. It was obvious what happened but not even an apology.

CapetOnian is correct in saying there are no fish and chip places to compare to Cape Town, BUT, J's comes very close. Fresh, good batter. Real fish inside, great chips. The four stars instead of five because the wait was ridiculously long. Outside, in the parking lot. Not fun.

Consistently great seafood. It's not a fancy place, just a good food place. As locals, we get here as often as possible but in the summer people are often waiting in line. Worth the wait, however. Portions are generous, always fresh. Family run restaurant--nice folks!

I must be honest and say that there are no fish and chip places in America that can compare to my home country, but I do give each and every place I visit the benefit of the doubt. I had heard about this place and was excited to try it. While placing my order I found it very odd with... More
