You will never be disappointed at Stanford's. I prefer the bar setting but the regular restaurant sitting cozy, quiet and comfy. Great for a date with that special person

The corporate culture that permeates Stanfords just doesn't understand (or appreciate) customers. The food is mediocre, but at least it's over-priced.

This is a nice restaurant. The menu selection is large, the food good and there is a good wine and beer selection. The service was very good. I thought the food was good but the salmon oscar was a little salty. There is indoor seating, booths in the bar for eating and outdoor seating. I would eat here again.

Met here a few times for business lunches. Service is good.Waiters friendly. Food can take along time to reach the table. Burgers are expensive without being special. Fries are not fresh. They obviously sit under a light before serving. Salad dressing is tasteless. Simply a tolerable lunch, nothing more. Save some money and go to The Giant in Lake Grove.

This is where I dine more than any other local restaurant where I live. Lots of seating options: pedestal table in the bar, booth in the restaurant, outdoor patio. Excellent service, consistent food, good value & having the happy hour menu always available on the patio brings me in when I'm solo or with others. The bar menu is excellent,... More

There are several Stanford's Restaurants in the Portland area; we go to the one in Lake Oswego because it is just across the parking lot from our hotel, the Lake Oswego Crowne Plaza. The food is good and the prices are OK. If we are feeling a bit more energetic, we go across the street to the Oswego Grill, which... More

Stanford's is the type of place you can return to and get a predictably good meal with fine service. We were there on a Wednesday night when their excellent wine selection is half-price for the bottle. I had a plank salmon that was perfectly prepared and my wife had a Kobe beef meatloaf that was melt-in-your-mouth good. We couldn't have... More

Great bar drinks!! Club sandwich was amazing. Loved how close it was to my hotel. The cucumber martini was so refreshing. Great happy hour prices and times.

Considering the many dining options in the area of the I-5 / Kruse Way interchange, Stanford's ranks fairly high. While in my opinion, none of the restaurants in that area are unique "to die for" places, Stanford's is one that I often choose over the others. It's lunch menu offers ample variety, at reasonable prices, providing decent value. While the... More
