We went to this place in the morning not knowing that it was going to be so crowded I suggest making reservations. We waited for a table for about an hour we had six in our party so I know it took a little longer. But no big deal we walked over to Starbucks and got a coffee and looked... More

We were in last weekend for an early lunch & neither of us were disappointed! After about a 25 min wait we were seated at a table near the window in the back. The server appeared pretty quickly & got our coffee order. My friend tried the Monte Cristo sandwich & loved it & I ordered the cheesy polenta with... More

If you are looking for a Euro style meal with any small delicious plates, this is the place. We love the ambiance, service and quality of food. Many exceptional choices. Best in the warm weather months to sit outside, but also perfect to seek out wonderful comfort food on a cool and wet day in doors. Caution, do not sit... More

I've been enjoying eating at the new and previous location for nine years. Food, drinks and ambiance are still very good. A little noisy eating outside and being such a popular local hangout you sometimes have to wait to be seated. Seasonal pastries are excellent and the central bar is a nice touch. Sadly I don't order the plain croissants... More

This place was chosen for Dinner based on the reviews on here and we weren’t disappointed. The food was all really good and affordable. The service was solid and it was an overall great experience. To start off the meal serve an assortment of breads with an herb butter that is really good. The Plates are all $6 or $7... More

They've moved down the street to Bryant. Glad we didn't give up until we found it because the Bacon Lentil soup was amazing. Their gluten free bread was the best I've ever had.

The food is wonderful, the croissants flakey and flavorful. The ambiance is great unless you sit in the center of the center section and then it's pretty noisy. The outside area is a wonderful experience on a nice day. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. You can purchase pastries and bread to take home and they are also delicious.

This is my go to spot when meeting friends for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere and scrumptious food. My top favorites are the smoked salmon hash, monte cristo, and the salmon salad. My kids love the chocolate filled croissants. Their raspberry freezer jam is amazing and you can buy a container and bring it home. This French cafe never dissappoints!

This restaurant is one of the reasons I so often travel to the Portland area, and my favorite thing about Oregon (even more so than the tax free shopping!). Expect to fight for a parking space and (depending on the time of day) wait for a table, but I promise the meal will more than make up for any inconvenience... More

I just returned from France where I lived 30 years ago. Back then the croissants were spectacular. Unfortunately today they've reduced the quality of the ingredients and the bread and pastries are lackluster. I came back to discover La Provence!! Amazingly the croissants and other pastries surpassed those that I came across in France. The ingredients are fresh and obviously... More
