French Bistro!

Absolutely amazing!! We have been twice for brunch and once for dinner. Both were very good. I love the fresh buttery croissants served with tasty jam. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Their new location is fabulous. Twice have enjoyed outside dining. The quality of both the food and service has been top notch. They serve petite plates for dinner but these are not petite. Some of them such as the truffle frites are definitely full size servings and can easily be... More

I only eat one of their dishes even though I've been there multiple times. That's not because I don't like the food, it's just I really love their beef hash! Rest of the menu is sandwich heavy which is not my thing. Bakery is dangerous! Did I mention that hash? Eating outside at Progress Ridge is delightful. Staff is excellent.

We recently spent an lovely, relaxing evening on the patio at La Provence with our adult children and their spouses. The lunch menu is not available at dinner but what we had did not disappoint. We ordered a selection of small plates and all were good. I particularly liked the beet salad. I also ordered the special of beef with... More

La Provence is one of those rare restaurants where the wait is worth it! However, the staff gets people to their tables quickly and efficiently enabling you to enjoy any number of great menu selections. There are several delicious options making your decision very difficult. Whatever you get - and its all good - don't miss enjoying a fresh croissant.... More

This is a definitely place for hipster millennials. Not a good spot for average folks. The prices are too high, however, the food is good. Maybe it's just me, but I liked the quaint old country feel of the old place much better. In fact, the old place was my favorite breakfast place. The focal point of the new place... More

The ambience was good and they serve freshly baked croissants. Nice place for brunch. Could not rank it higher - my husband enjoyed his omelet. I had some eggs, butternut squash and potatoes - too dry, nothing to write home about.

We have eaten here many times and their small plates are delicious. When it is warm there is a nice outside patio. I would recommend it!

La Provence is a destination place for many people in Lake Oswego, and the surrounding Portland area. The food has the buttery deliciousness of French cuisine, with the added freshness of NW veggies and fresh local charcuterie choices. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with small plate specials for Happy Hour. I ordered a birthday cake for my husbands... More
