French Bistro type. We had both breakfast and dinner on different days. We just loved it. Very reasonably priced and excellent taste/preparation. They have several unique dishes that are creative in both meal options as well as comfort food. The dinner menu offers a choice of many small plates that are not actually small. We paid only $21.90 for dinner... More

In 1963, in Paris France I swore I would never, ever visit another French Restaurant. I lived up to that pledge for 49 years, till I reluctantly tried La Provence. I was an immediate convert. Superb food, prepared amazingly well, visually delightful, fairly priced and generous portions. Yeah, I know, doesn't sound like any French restaurant you've visited either. Became... More

Excellent food and service. My wife ordered the "Daybreaker" and I had the "Chef Omelette". Both were fresh tasting. Portions were substantial. Next time we will split one entree. The croissant that comes with an entree is huge! Enjoy!!

This is a very popular breakfast and lunch place - bigger than it looks and has an ample patio for nice weather. Entrees are unique (I had the roasted oatmeal) - my wife had salmon hash, both delicious!) and priced fairly. At 10:00 we had a 20 minute wait for a table, though.

La Provence is French restaurant near my home. I've eaten there many times and while it's a bit expensive it has nothing to do with the establishment itself but rather a byproduct of the neighborhood. For that reason any would be visitor should know that they will pay a bit more and have trouble finding parking to do that. Once... More

The "Wild Northwest Salmon Hash" was so good!!! My son and I ordered two different dishes and then shared them. The Salmon hash was, by far, the better of the two dishes. The other dish was good too but the salmon hash was outstanding.

La Provence serves a great breakfast. I love their corn beef hash. They also have the best gluten free bread I have ever had. Their restaurant has a great atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend checking them out sometime.

This is a must-do in the Portland area. We stopped in for breakfast. Oh, my, what a lovely place for a delicious meal. You will find unique, tasty offerings on the menu and in the bakery case. On the way out, when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, we had to sample a pastry. Glad I didn't pass it... More

Radio too loud inside and out; traffic noise outside; service just okay. Food tasty and servings tiny.

La Provence has some of the best gluten free bread I've had. They have great soups and salads. Friendly wait staff.
