Oasis truly an Oasis

The Oasis is a refreshing break along Highway US 20. I would highly recommend it as a place to have a meal or stay the night. It's a good day's drive from the Coast, and I highly recommend staying here because it's like a home away from home. The food is unexpectedly great and the people are like... read more

Excellent food! I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and have never walked away disappointed or hungry.

We tipped big! The service is great and the cook is awesome (would swear my grandma was in that kitchen cooking!). Food was hot and delicious. Great prices and clean little diner. Buttermilk Pancakes are huge! Denver omelet is great. Don't miss the homemade salsa!

There are not many services along Hwy 20, so it was a delight to find such a pleasant place to stop. We only had Stash tea and homemade peanut butter cookies, and we sat and read the fun signs on the walls. Another customer told me that she was stocking up on their fudge ($30 worth). It looked wonderful, and... More

We were returning from the west coast and decided to take a shortcut along Oregon's Highway 20. We were aware that there are long stretches of lonely highway without much traffic, but we enjoy that after being on the interstate. However, we were starting to get a little hungry as we came upon the Oasis Cafe and decided to stop... More

Having been raised in the restaurant business growing up I appreciate home cooking, friendly servers and a relaxed, clean atmosphere. The Oasis Cafe is the real deal. The location was on our way to Boise, Idaho for a wedding. Don't blink or you will miss it. The food was great. Lots of bacon on the grilled cheese sandwiches and real... More

I have passed by here many times but never stopped. After blowing a tire just west of town coming down Drinkingwater Pass and waiting for it to be fixed I had time for not one, but two meals. I was served a nice big juicy burner for lunch, and for dinner I opted for the chili burger. Both came with... More

Have eaten at the Oasis for years when traveling on highway 20 between Bend Oregon and Boise. This is a very remote area and the Oasis lives up to it's name for the weary traveler wanting a cup of coffee or a meal. During my most recent stop I had the buffalo burger and a bowl of pork stew. Everything... More
