A small, nicely decorated, light, bright, restaurant (with hitching post out front) right at the intersection of all the "action" at Wallowa Lake: right turn takes you to the lake marina, mule deer grazing area and overnight state park campground --- left goes up the hill to the trails leading into the Eagle Caps and day use park ---- across... Fun little restaurant close to Wallowa Lake. Service can be slow if they are crowded, but worth the wait.

Good food and good atmosphere. Friendly staff and lots of local postcards for sale! Also a decent selection of adult beverages.

We wanted to have one last dinner out while staying at the lake. We read some good reviews on here and decided to give it a go. We ordered halibut fish (frozen and skimpy), with mashed potatoes (instant potatoes) and gravy (dry mix from a packet), and rib steak (pretty good). The staff wasn't very welcoming when we came in... This restaurant, their food and the staff deserve this excellent rating. We stayed at Wallowa State Campground for 10 days and we ate here twice. Once for lunch and a few days later for dinner. Both times we received excellent service and the food was exceptionally good. The kids had the Fish and Chips both times. The fish was fresh... More

Stopped by here once when we were at Wallowa Lake. This is a restaurant with an attached small general store on the south end of Wallowa Lake close to the accommodations there. There is indoor and outddor seating available. The burgers we had were quite good, fries were great. Good no frills food place.

Our waiter was friendly and the food was bad or very good. A good port in a storm. If you want a burger and fries kind of place, this might work out well for you.

Took our extended family for an afternoon lunch. Bragged about GG to them beforehand & were not disappointed! Large portions of very well prepared & fresh bistro-type food. Staff is great!

We had breakfast there twice. It may not look like much from the outside, however it's a find. The food was plentiful, quality was great and service worked for us.

The waitresses were unfriendly. We were the youngest customers there and every time we went in (it is also a general store) we were basically ignored while the older patrons were greeted with a smile and prompt service. I feel like they assumed that because we were younger maybe we wouldnt tip well or something.Everyone else on our trip was... More
