We are locals and were looking forward to trying Gogi's based on the reviews and the general lack of find dining options in Southern Oregon. Went on a Friday evening with one other couple. Out of 4 dishes ordered at our table one was medicore, one was edible and the other two were flat out terrible! Meat was dry and... More

Limited menu of fresh, excellently prepared dishes. I loved the fish and my husband said his Filet was wonderful too. They have a very nice small bar...it was nice to have such a small restaurant offer more than just beer and wine.

Well I have eaten here a few times and this will probably be the last it's just not worth it. You know when you go to a nice restaurant and drop a couple 100 on dinner it should be good food good experience wright? It started with ordering, the waiter was buzzing around at all the other tables but ours... More

Food was absolutely amazing. Staff was a bit on the snippy side, and our waiter felt pretty happy with himself, but it wasn't enough to take away from the great meal we had. Fried Pork Bellies and the Filet Mignon were to die for.

Had Sunday morning brunch for a party of 11. Service was great (my coffee was never dry) and timing was perfect. This is no buffet, all individual and delicious orders. Old home is now a super venue.

Great food, great service, great drinks. Everyone should eat there at least once. Location is right downtown. I would suggest reservations too.

Oh. my. gosh. Where has this restaurant been hiding? Well actually, it does kind of hide behind the main drag in Jacksonville. But the food is (IMO) the best in the area. The dining room is a comfortable small-medium size, decorated so tastefully accented by the warm wood bar (which serves the most perfect martini). The appetizers are always varied... More

When we visited Applegate trail, we decided to have dinner in Gogi in Jacksonville. That has good reviews in Yelp. The restaurant is very pleasant and small. We were happy to have reservation ahead for the restaurant only has 10 tables. First, we ordered classic Martini and tonic water for pre-dinner drinks. Surprised, the glasses they used just simple tumbler... More

Putrid Sewage sums it up. Took a lady for a classy meal after her 3 yrs. hard work in obtaining her degree. I'd eaten here several times in the past, in early days of original chef/owner prepared courses and meals were top notch. Not so today. Friend had a "good" steak, I'd ordered the pork roast plate. Only thing that... More

While visiting Jacksonville (a delightful town), we googled Gogi's (pronounced GO-GHEE, as like he,but starts w/a g). Very high reviews, but I'm telling you it's better than that. A small restaurant w/about 10 tables, not including the ones outside. The setting inside is charming and welcoming. The staff is terrific, Joe (part owner w/ his brother the chef) and John... More
