My husband and I come here every year and eat out on their patio, while on vacation. The flowers and little white lights keep up the ambience. When we go there we ask for the bistro menu, (the cost is a bit more reasonable). I had the hazelnut encrusted prawns, (I hope they will have them again next year) they... More

The food is great. Almost everything on the menu is good. There is just a lot of food. We had the famous blue cheese creme brûlée appetizer and it was as good as advertised. I had the sole, my wife had the hazelnut chicken and our friend had the halibut. It was all so good but there was so much... More

This place is seriously old school, from the interior to the dishes themselves and even the presentation. Food was very good and it's a unique, historic property.

The blue cheese creme brûlée (with raspberry "caviar") was delicious! They gave us veggies to dip in instead of bread for one member of the party who was celiac. Great food and great service!

This is a first class dining experience. All the food was top of the line as well as the service. I had their house special corn chowder and have been trying to figure out how to go back and hack more ever since.

Although I live in Jacksonville, which is a quaint historic town and so fun to visit, eating here is still a real treat. They have a special recipe for carrots (yes, carrots!) that is amazing. The Sunday brunch is yummy. I know several presidents have eaten there. Great service.

My wife & I enjoyed a wonderful evening dining at the historic Jacksonville Inn. Weather was great so we sat outside in the garden terrace area. Food and service were both great!

Six of us had Sunday Brunch here, and what a wonderful surprise. They kept the champagne and sparkling cider flowing as part of the price of the meal; no extra charge. My husband and I shared two of the specials: waffles with blueberries and almonds and an egg dish. EXCELLENT food, great service. The owner stopped by for a chat.... More

This historic inn has a quaint downstairs dining room; weather permitting I would perfer to eat outdoors. Nevertheless, no matter where you choose to have your meal, the food is always outstanding. The service is terrific. Come prepared to dine at a leisurely pace and savor every bite. I had the special that evening which was scallops and risotto. My... More

The dining room "downstairs" has a lot of charm. We were seated at a table near a wall and it had a really nice cave-like cozy feel to it. Especially on a cold and rainy night, it was just perfect. The waiter told me that I was sitting at the same chair as a recent US president (it's a popular... More
