Outstanding service, atmosphere, food and drink. Upscale dining that is well known in the area for consistent dining pleasure. Top of the line steak and seafood prepared like any 5 star restaurant would. Wish I lived nearer this area.

The Jacksonville Inn is a hotel, bar, and dining room in Jacksonville, Oregon. Jacksonville is a western town that has been preserved, and when you are there you think it's the 1800s. The town's main street is lined with quaint shops and surrounded by lush trees and vintage houses. I love to stay at the Jacksonville Inn. It is OF... More

The Jacksonville Inn is Iconic in Southern Oregon; having served dinner to three different US Presidents. Whenever I want a fine meal, this is the place that I visit. If one is interested in upscale fine dining, be sure to visit their regular dining area with an elegant decor. For those who prefer smaller portions and at a smaller price,... More

My husband and I like to dine in the downstairs bistro. It's cozy, warm and friendly. The stone walls remind of us of a wine cellar. Marriana, a bartender, makes perfect Makers Mark Manhattans. She is a lovely lady. Most recently we had salads for our dinner. My pear, walnut, and blue cheese on very fresh mixed greens was delicious.... More

A very nice place for dinner. Try the outside patio. Tasty selection of entrees. Good service. Need more Oregon wines on the menu...we were in Oregon after all.

We ate here five times over three days -- two breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners. For all meals the food and service were excellent. The restaurant is on two levels, an upper or main floor, which is slightly raised above street level, and a basement restaurant. Both, except for the front windows of the upper level, have the same... More

We had about 1/2 hr before our tour left, we decided to pop into this lovely looking Inn. We sat out back and had a cocktail. The patio area was lovely, the service was good, nice attentive wait staff, The cocktail was just ok. I know the server said that was his specialty (Lemon Drops). They were good, just a... More

My apologies to Tracy and Paul P. for disappointing them with the size of their Lemon Drop martinis. The martini glass that seemed small to them has a 6 oz. capacity. The Lemon Drop martini that we prepare includes 2 1/2 oz. (i.e. 2 1/2 shots) of alcohol plus fresh-squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup. many of our regular customers... More

So the hype is that former presidents eat there. OK, so presidents eat at fast food restaurants. GET IT???? The stuff served looks as if it were pulled out for a freezer and reheated in a microwave or it came from a can or plastic bag. Come over to my house and I will cook you a fresh Delicious meal... Wow! We almost always please our customers, the vast majority of whom are returning guests. It appears, however, that Greg G. is very difficult to please inasmuch as he also made very disparaging comments about four other restaurants in Jacksonville. I only wish that he had asked for me at the time he apparently visited the Jacksonville Inn, and I... More

This place is one of those place want to seem them succeed over the years and years but just doesn't get over the hump. My wife and I have gone there numerous times over the many years (18 years) also my wife is from the area. It has gone through it's fair share of changes, but just hasn't found it's... More

I am terribly sorry that we were unable to satisfy Mr. Pettengill and his wife. We have owned the Jacksonville Inn for 38 years; and in an effort to maximize the probability of customer satisfaction, I work seven days a week. I am always available to discuss customer issues. Concerning the comment that the Inn "just doesn't get over the... More

what a great overall experience I had at the inn tonight. I enjoyed an outstanding burger with a very nice local tap beer. The burger comes with an awesome salad. I am excited to go back and try some of the other dishes.
