Loved dining on the terrace and sampling one of Oregon's Pinto Noirs. The restaurant is small but eating outside was a good option for us on this very warm evening. The terrace where we sat was shaded by a beautiful tree, providing a cooler space to dine than inside. The food was outstanding. My husband had a steak and I... More

C Street was recommended and were we happy! A small restaurant but huge on flavors. The had a grilled romaine salad that was very good, not the best but, good. The mahi mahi was delicious! Very flavorful! The wine list was small but, good quality and many Southern Oregon wines. The staff was terrific! Amanda and Paul ( owner) were... More

C St. is an interesting mix, but I agree with the reviewer who said they expected more. It's a true bistro in the sense it is a fairly intimate dining experience, i.e. the kitchen is right there, thus if you're seated inside you're going to hear everything the staff says. They pride themselves on their ingredients, all locally sourced where... More

This bistro is quaint, friendly and good quality food for a reasonable price. They have added additional seating outside, so that more people can be seated. My husband had their ground sirloin Forager Burger, (he rarely orders one, but this one was worth ordering). (Our inn keeper said that the Forager was his favorite and he dreams of it :-)... More

Good coffee! Only one's eating in bistro, but took forever to get our uncomplicated food. Loud music and chef chatter/noise. Food was ok, but not warm when it finally arrived. Felt fairly awkward....

Everything was amazing! This chef really knows how to mix flavors, the whole is greater than the parts and the parts are fabulous! Everything made on site.

This small restaurant is easily overwhelmed when it's three or four tables fill up. The single server is too busy to know or tell anything about the specials. She places a handwritten rumpled piece of paper on the table and rushes away... And took a long time to return or further acknowledge us. Food is pricy for dinner, higher Thant... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. The chef is creative, uses fresh, local products when possible, and is consistent. He can give you good advice for wine pairing with your order. Some older folks think it is expensive, but I disagree. The quality of the food is superior to other Jacksonville restaurants. For me, the quantity is perfect. I... More

Upon the advice of a local fellow we met wine tasting, we dined at the C St. Bistro. We're so glad that we did. We had an amazing dinner in this small, quaint, cafe style restaurant. We would definitely eat here again.

Wow -- this place is a jewel -- food is incredible and prices reasonable -- you just want to tell Chef Paul to recommend and surprise you if you go there -- small quaint yet comfortable establishment that delivers a culinary masterpiece in every way -- must go to if you visit Jacksonville
