Delish, full of flavor

My date and I both had a cheese burger with garlic and herb fingerling potatoes, mine was called the forager and came with swiss cheese or provolone and wild mushrooms and truffle aoili, it was divine! One of the most satisfying burgers I've ever had. The garlic that was fried with the potatoes... read more

We found the C Street Bistro during our visit to Jacksonville and had a very enjoyable lunch at a place where 'the locals' go. Good food, well priced. Definitely worth it.

We went to C St. Bistro after having seen a Facebook post recommending this restaurant. It is charming little cottage in the heart of historic downtown Jacksonville. We were immediately captivated by the cute exterior and outside seating, but chose to eat inside because of the cool weather. Both my husband and I chose pork sandwiches - he opted for... More

If you talk to locals this is the go to place for lunch. We went for Dinner one night. It is very small and communal inside but there is a deck and tables outside when weather permits. The Chef owner waited tables the night we were there. ( one of my pet peeves is... I'd rather the chef be in... More

The place is tiny so crowded and noisy. Be prepared to share table with others European style. Good place to stop and have a bite for lunch IF not busy.

Small and friendly cottage with outdoor seating (warm enough to sit outside today!). The meals are creative, delicious and fresh organic! not to be missed.

The chef used to be at a restaurant in Santa Barbara and obviously knows his business. His tomato soup is the best thing I have ever tasted, and perfect with the "duckwich" - a Panini made with duck breast meat, goat cheese and marmalade. The bistro is in a little diner which probably dates back to the '40s or '50s... More

The service and food are superior. What else can I say? Eat here and see for yourself. The price is reasonable, too. Chef Paul loves good food and presenting it to his guests.

This place is great! Chef Paul et al create delicious, locally sourced when possible, organic when possible meals. They grind the grass-fed sirloin for the burgers when ordered. I've hadd almost all the burgers, but my favorite is the forager. Wild mushrooms! You can't go wrong by ordering the specials. Very fresh ingredients cooked like you probably wouldn't do at... More
