The place is tiny so crowded and noisy. Be prepared to share table with others European style. Good place to stop and have a bite for lunch IF not busy.

Small and friendly cottage with outdoor seating (warm enough to sit outside today!). The meals are creative, delicious and fresh organic! not to be missed.

The chef used to be at a restaurant in Santa Barbara and obviously knows his business. His tomato soup is the best thing I have ever tasted, and perfect with the "duckwich" - a Panini made with duck breast meat, goat cheese and marmalade. The bistro is in a little diner which probably dates back to the '40s or '50s... More

The service and food are superior. What else can I say? Eat here and see for yourself. The price is reasonable, too. Chef Paul loves good food and presenting it to his guests.

This place is great! Chef Paul et al create delicious, locally sourced when possible, organic when possible meals. They grind the grass-fed sirloin for the burgers when ordered. I've hadd almost all the burgers, but my favorite is the forager. Wild mushrooms! You can't go wrong by ordering the specials. Very fresh ingredients cooked like you probably wouldn't do at... More

We were checking out Jacksonville, glad we did, saw this place in Sunset and wanted to see if they were right. They were!! We shared a burger with pastrami and an egg and grilled Cesare salad. It was delicious!! The chef owner was very friendly and chatted with us. The place is small and eclectic. In the summer I am... More

Great food, though they had sold out of a few of the specials by 8:00 that night! Nowhere to wait for a table, so make a reservation. The atmosphere feels like a deli, could use some dimmer lights and maybe more rustic plank tables, lose the linens and plastic shields. They serve wine and beer, no hard liquor. The produce... More

I love this place! Very small but fresh food made to order. Paul tries to use all local produce and meats. Be forewarned however, it does get very busy, especially during Britt season. Totally worth it though!

My wife and I shared a Elk Wellington appetizer and then two entrees: salmon fillet rolled with a stuffing and a chicken dish. Both were prepared well with little extras like roe in the sauce on the salmon. Very creative uses of different foods that blended together beautifully. Some chefs seemingly use many ingredients and it seems forced - not... More
